CHAPTER 4. Nina's POV. (Flashback continued) Smack. The Alpha's sister slapped me and my mother beat me at every point of my body that she could touch. "But I didn't steal anything," I reasoned with them, but the beating did not stop. "Stop," a booming voice sounded and everyone looked up. "Beta," we all bowed to him, but he went straight for me and helped me up from the ground. The moment he touched me, gasps were heard and the Alpha sister stomped off. He should not have helped me. "Are you alright?" The beta asked "Yes, I am alright, thank you beta," I replied " It is okay," he said and nodded at everyone before leaving. I believed him then that they treat their Omegas with love and respect, it showed in his character and how he carried himself around in our pack. Because the Beta helped me, I became the center of bullying, and the Alpha's sister orchestrated it, I took a beating at every corner of the pack, and I was beaten every single day, what made me run was worse and it made me realize that out the pack was so rotten and would probably never change. After the beta left back to his pack, I was called into the Alpha's sister's room and when I got there there were two mature and mateless male wolves standing with her in the room. "You called," I said and they all smirked, making the hair on my body stand at attention. It was creepy. "Yes, I called, you are nothing but a trashy omega and you have been getting your hands where they are not wanted or needed, now I need to teach you not to touch what is mine," she snarled at me and gestured with her hands to the two men. "Yours?, I did not take anything from you and I would never touch something that belonged to someone else," I responded "Well, you did," "What are you doing?" I asked when the two men held me rooted in my position. "Hold her still," the Alpha's sister commanded That was when she started with her assault, she beat me so hard as I have never been beaten before. When she was done, she smiled evilly. "Have fun boys," she said and left the room, leaving me with the men. I did not register what they were trying to do on time, but when I did I panicked because I did not want it to happen to me. They were going to force themselves on me. Two men. I ran. Like never before, I ran, despite the pain I was feeling all over my body, I ran for my life and my safety, I didn't care about what my parents would say, I simply ran until I reached the pack border where the warriors barely patrol. "What should I do?" I asked my Omega and she simply whined. "Should I go or stay here still?" I spoke to myself as I paced the border. I already knew that the moment I step over the border everyone would be alerted, but that didn't matter to me, what mattered was where I was going to go because an Omega wolf on her own was not a good idea. "Yes, the Black, black, black..." I tried to remember the nice Beta's pack name, but I couldn't, the only thing I remember was Black. "I could go there, and maybe I would be treated well," I said to myself and took a deep breath as I cross the border. Something snapped inside of me, signifying my breaking bonds with the Rose Worth Pack. When we were little, they would always tell us how devastating it was to leave one's pack, but, I did not feel devastated at all. Instead, I felt liberated. And it felt too. "I should have asked the beta for directions to his pack," I chastised myself as I walked in an unknown direction toward an unknown destination. Thankfully, I saw a shed I could stay and rest a bit. I was still feeling pain, but my Omega already took most of my pain, and I was grateful for that. "A pack!" I exclaimed when I came across a new pack and I was joyous thinking I had seen the nice pack. How wrong I was. "What pack is this?" I asked the warrior that escorted me Inside. "Black Shadow Pack," he replied and I smiled to myself, the moment I heard the word black, I was excited, not knowing it was the wrong pack. I became a member of the pack and they did not treat Omega as the Black Wolves pack was said to do. I was stuck here. (Flashback Ends) "So that was how you came to this pack, wow," Issac said after I recounted my story. I simply smiled and ruffled his hair. It seemed like I wasn't bothered by how Omegas were treated, but in all honesty, I was and I wished there was something I could do to change it. "Nina! Isaac!" Someone called us. Not just someone, Blossom. She was the only one that came in her unannounced like that. "Blossom!" Issac called excitedly as he rushed to hug her. "Hello, little boy," she teased him "I am not little," he pouted. "Thank you for the food," "You are welcome," she replied. From her posture, I could tell she has news and it was probably great from the way she was smiling brightly. I was curious as to what she wanted to say, so I asked. "Why are you here?" "The pack is going on a run tomorrow, that means the pack house would be empty," she wiggled her eyebrows and I got excited with the news as it only means one thing. Free food without getting caught. "Yes!" I jumped up. "But, be careful and don't take things too much, that will be noticeable, okay," Blossom warned and I nodded. " Thank you, Blossom," Issac and I said together.
