EVA’S POV
“The gentleman paid for it and asked me to give it to you.” she said.
I looked at her in confusion as I had no idea what was going on.
“Me?? Clark asked you to give this to me??” I asked.
“Yes.” she said smiling.
“Are you sure?? I am not his fiance.” I said.
“I know…I think he saw you when you were admiring the ring and so he paid for it along with his and his Fiance’s.” she said.
“Emmm….I really don’t know what to say….thank you.”
“You should be thanking him.” she said as she winked.
As much as I was happy about the gift, I was confused as well because he was the same person who was completely ignoring me and suddenly he pays for a ring that costs almost a million dollars.
I kept the ring in my purse and walked out to meet with them.
