My morning jogging went well everyday.
The place was dead boring however. Classes were so easy that I didn't have to attened any and I was considered ready for a job although I had no skills besides programming. I happily applied for a job as a secretary at the local townhall . I mentioned my skills about computers and I suggested an automatic system for registration such as a data base. After about 3 days I got a letter saying my application was rejected and that they need no help with anything. Eventually I talked to my parents. My dad suggested I work st the bakery. He's the only one I told how lovely that place is. Unfortunately my stepmother disagreed , arguing that the bakery is a royal place and no country girl should every step in. It took every ounce of patience I had not to tell her that I am a city girl.
The next day I applied for a job at the bakery. I left a letter of application at the door as I was there too early.
Later that day I received the response:
" Dear Ella,
I understand your technological worries about cooking and we are certainly grateful to hear from you about how you would consider adding more automatic features. We do not want to discourage you from following your dreams although we cannot offer you the opportunity to use your computer knowledge here.
It is very importsnt for us to have the best products on market. we can explain more about our recipes in your training program that starts tomorrow! We'd like to hear from you as soon as possible. I hope you could reconsider giving up on technology development and start a career working in our team.
,William "
