Little black dress. Red stiletto and a red purse. I was a beautiful young woman. Just as expected stepmother wasn't happy when I told my dad about my business meeting. As long as my father is pleased with my choices and I feel happy , stepmother will have no say in my life.

Shortly after 2pm, William arrived to pick me up. He looked just as stunning as usually. His eyes fell down on my legs. That's slightly a sign he feels attracted by me. I won't say I like him because I still believe boys should the the first step. Whatsoever he was the prince... I standed no chance.

He opned the car door for me and as soon as I got in he adjusted my seat belt himself. I felt like I was taken care of.I mumbled a shy thank you.

" Are you ready for the meeting?" He asked nervously.

" Indeed I am. Where is it taken place?" I was trying to sound as steady as possible and to leave a good impression.

" At the palace. You should be prepared for keeping a speech as the concil members will talk business."

He never told me it was a council meeting and I never prepared a speech! Damn it.

" I didn't kno-" I was trying to explain that I couldn't keep a speech but he cut me off.

" I know what I told you at the bakery. I couldn't tell you ehat was going on in front of so many people. I am in trouble and your dexterity is going to be of great help"

William explained that he was having problems at the palace and that he needs a person to confide in.

" Nobody in this town is trust worthy. New people are a luxury. And you are new, you had advanced studies, you know things we don't. I need you to be my personal assistant today and to try to solve those problems." It was the first time I ever saw Prince William upset and hopeless.

" I know it is a lot I ask and I'm sorry for dismissing you from the bakery. Your mother comunicated me that she didn't want you working there. "

" Why is my mother's words agains yours?"

I was in the right place to ask questions as he needed my help. He was in a such position he couldn't refuse whatever I ask.

" I'm aware she is your stepmother and you are new here. You might not know that your stepmother is a duchess. She is a widow and she has been into severe depression since her husband died. But the town loves her and she is of great influence for the citizens. Upsetting her would only put me in a sensitive place in front of my people. " William explained.
