Chapter 40 Labor
Jake P.O.V I'm currently setting up another training session with Emily and Derek this morning. She's been mastering her defense magic but now it's time to work on her offence. It's been weeks since I found out I'm going to be a father, I'm very grateful that I get to teach magic to Emily, we work long hours, mostly going over the educational and laws of magic and then doing only 2 hours of magic. I can't get Emily to do longer than that throughout the day because I wouldn't want to exhaust her, I spread out those 2 hours into bits and pieces through our day.
