Chapter 11 Aria Sawyer

"Daughter?!" Derek and I said at the same time, shocked.

"Yes." The strange woman says as she shuts the door and comes inside. She takes off her cloak, she's wearing Black Long sleeve v neck shirt with black leggings and heels, Her hair was black but short up to her shoulders and it had a half up do with a bun at the back of her head. She wore a bit of make up and she had a bit of wrinkle lines on her eyes but other than that she looked to be in her late 30's. She c****d her head to the side, he grey eyes studying me. "You look like him so much." She said.

"Who?" I asked.

"Alrik Stark." she said.

"My dad? so what your my mom?" I asked. Even though I know she called me her daughter.

"Wait a minute, if she's your daughter then-" Derek was saying but was cut off by this woman.

"Your my twins." She looked at Derek then back at me smiling.

I took another shot of my water and then I took a deep breath, I should have saw this coming, but I didn't. Then again, crazy s**t has been happening in my life since I met Hardin again. Is it weird that I'm actually getting use to hearing new twisted things. Yup. I look over and Derek who was just staring at her for awhile, mouth hanging open and eyes wide, that must've how I look when I thought I was a adopted.

"So, she's my sister? I have a sister?" he asked.

The woman nods, "Yes, Davina Stark is your sister. Twin sister to be exact."

"Wow, I knew I felt something." Derek looked at me amazed and I half smiled back.

"This is cool and all but, what's happening next?" I asked.

"Just like her father, straight to business eh?" She says as she gets in a chair at the kitchen island facing us she says, "Long time ago, I was from this wolf and vampire clan that I grew up in, my father and mother were Alpha Male and Female leaders of the Clan alongside Nicholas and Freya, Two Vampire leaders. We were strong, until Demetri came and took over everything, Killed off my parents and killed Nicolas and he kept poor Freya as his wife. He forced himself on her and enslaved her, to the point of her, taking her own life. After that, he vowed to take more than one wife. Most of the people in our Clan were destroyed. I made a promise to my parents that if we were to fall, that I would take over and save this place someday and become it's new leader. I hid myself here for many years, and I pushed my son in training to be the best warrior and to win over Demetri's trust. You see, my parents had me train as a werewolf Assassin at a very young age, before my wolf Shelly came. Then, Demetri started using my skill and Sending me on quests to bring back the head of his enemies. One day, when I was sent out, I ran into this werewolf, I was walking along, a bridge, I had my nose on my target, but then I smelt this most delicious smell I can ever imagine, it smelled like marshmallows to me. I was distracted, Then this man was standing in front of me, his blue eyes staring deep within me, taking me over. We ended up under a bridge in the sand near the ocean, Making love, we almost marked eachother but I stopped it. Then, I told him, my life was too complicated that I couldn't be in a relationship right now. But he insisted. Then, this man that I was targeting, Found me talking to Alrik and he threw a silver knife at me, hitting me in the chest, knocking me into the ocean, I sunk deep into the ocean.. Turned out the silver knife was laced with Wolfsbane and it wasn't in very deep. But, still it was enough to knock me unconscious. I was floating in the ocean, I guess when I fell in, there was a ripped tied that carried me away from the shoreline. I then swamp to the landing and lost Alrik from there, I never saw him again. I went back and killed my target and been doing that since then. I found out later that I was pregnant, then when I was pregnant with twins, I hid it from everyone, including Demetri, I began wearing that hooded cloak around. When Demetri never really sees me in person, it's usually one of his people that give me pictures and addresses on targets they need gone. Then, I went out on my own into the forest to have you both, I was so happy to have you both in my arms, two beautiful baby wolves. I was going to bring you both back with me to raise on my own but then, I stopped to look at Davina, I couldn't, Because knowing what Demetri was like, along with the other men here, a women is not safe here, especially young girls. I couldn't raise you here, but I knew Derek will be safe, so I kept him and trained him privately now he's Demetri's Warrior trainer. He answers to Demetri's General. Anyway, I wondered off from town to town, searching for a place to put you, where I know you'll be raised and loved. I couldn't put you just anywhere, I had to find a werewolf territory and hope they take you in. Finally I found one far from us, like a 2 day trip from us, where I smelt that smell again in the forest and beyond some farmland. I knew Alrik was near by so I quickly put you down, and gave you a locket with your name on it Davina S. Meaning Davina Sawyer."

"It's Stark." I told her.

She nodded smiling, "It suits you, Then I ran and never went back. I never told you Derek because I know you'd try your best to look for her."

Derek looked at me then, the same grey eyes as this woman, the same tan skin also where I was more paler than them, I get that from my dad. Then Derek said, "Wait, if your a Vampire.. How?" he trailed off.

My eyes widened, s**t they found out. The woman stood up then, frowning at me, then she was circling me slowly looking up and down, "Your right, Demetri claimed she was a vampire in front of everyone. I know you can't fool Demetri." She trailed off and she looked at me. Like really looked at me.

I spoke to their wolves, this woman even though she's a stranger now, she truly loves you and this man, just wants to get to know you more and spend time with you, he's excited to finally meet you, I sense nothing else.

Show them who we are.

I growled again and this time they stepped back as I began to shift and change first into my normal wolf, then my Primal Werewolf. I was towering over both of them as they stumbled backward shocked at what they're seeing. I thanked the Night goddess that this place had high ceilings. I was able to walk around the room without hitting my head.

My mother, walked around me touching my soft silky thick white fur and Derek was scratching his head in amazement. "Wow mom, look at her eyes." he says pointing at me.

"Beautiful." She says looking at me. I know my eyes were Glowing an Electric Blue color. I walked over and went to my room to change forms and I quickly dressed up grabbing another skinny jeans t-shirt and new pumps and ran back out into the Livingroom and they were sitting there waiting for me.

"Yeah I'm a Hybrid." I said.

"That's so cool." Derek says in awe.

"How?" The woman asks me.

I shrugged, "I was bitten without me knowing."

"No. I mean, usually being bitten by a vampires venom is bad for us werewolves, in some cases the venom can kill our inner wolves and make us human again or they knock us out or just kill us, depending on how much venom is in us, most don't survive." She shook her head.

"Well, I had no idea I was even a Werewolf." I shrugged again, "I just found out last month just before my birthday that midnight I got my wolf." I said.

"Wow., Didn't Alrik tell you?" She asked.

I shook my head, "No, me and my sister both had no idea, They said dad thought I was human, I think but we didn't even talk to my dad yet." I said, finishing the sentence fast.

"I thought he would have told you everything." She says whispering to herself in thought.

"Another thing I been dying to ask since I woke up." I said.

They both looked at me then and Derek said, "What's that?"

"You see, I was on my way home and was ready to confront my dad, but then we are caught by these guys here and I woke up alone in the room. I wasn't alone" I say shaking my head, "I was with my two mate bonds, Hardin and Jake. We haven't marked eachother yet because we're still researching the mate bond thing where there's two mates mated to one person and we're trying to figure out what to do with that.. but you see the longer I'm away from them the harder this is getting for me to stay away.. So I'm really worried about them because I have no idea where they are or what Demetri did to them. If I don't get to them soon I'm not too sure how or if I'll make it." I say breathing fast and heavy looking at both of them with my eyes pleading.

"Okay, good to know. I know how the mate bond works, and I know it's life threatening especially when those who aren't train in the ways. But even so, it is painful to lose it completely.. And also painful to be away from them." The woman or mother was staring away.

"Is that why you cry sometimes or fall quiet a lot?" Derek asked his mom.

"I'm depressed... I found out later I should have rejected her father the proper way. I'm slowly dying my son, I have been for years." She puts her hand on his shoulder.

"How do you mean?" he asked.

"I'm not as strong anymore and look at the wrinkles in my eyes, and I have this" She turns and shows us her greying hair underneath her hair on top.

"Your only what? 45 years old? Your not even suppose to get a little bit grey hair until your maybe over 150 years old.. even than.." he says shaking his head.

"Wait, I think there's more to your story than what you said." I squinted at her. She looked up at me from her cup and sighed.

"Well?" I asked.

"I've been seeing your dad once a year since I've met him." she said.

The wheels in my head started turning, "Then, you knew all about me?" I asked.

She looked down, "Yes. I knew he was hiding the werewolf from you. He was doing it for your mother. She didn't quite take you as hers at first, Instead of raising you the way they did Alley, I've asked him to just let you be your own person, train her but don't let her know your training her, she can't know she's a wolf just yet until she gets her wolf."

Frowning, confused, "But why? why hide it from me? What was the point?"

"Your mom needed to believe your dad just found you, not that you were his at all. Your dad didn't want to hurt her." She said.

"Why? though? why would her knowing who I really am and that I was really his daughter.." I asked.

She looked down sighing, "Your father was mated to both of us, Davina."

I snapped my head to her and so did Derek, "What?!" We both Raised our voices.

"It's, complicated, He found me first and we fell in love, made you both, we separated you both that way, we both got a piece of eachother with us at all times, its you two that have kept us both equally strong." She looked between both of us, "I told him I couldn't ever leave, he begged me to live with him more than once. I refused, and told him it's better this way, I need to get my home back. My parents died for this place, I owe it to them. When I was pregnant with you, then I found out he was mated with your other mother, Katrina. Then, I had you and sent you off with your dad, then she had Alley your half sister."

Derek raised his eyebrows, "I have a half sister?"

I nodded and looked at him, "You'll love her, she's the smart one."

Derek smiled, "Nice, I was feeling.. Well, never mind what I was feeling, I feel relieved and happy now knowing I have two sisters, and one is a twin of mine." He smiled at me.

"So, why couldn't my mom not know about you?" I asked.

"Because it almost killed me when your dad had another mate, it broke my heart but, also when they mated and marked eachother, I felt pain like no other, this was deep. Still is, Today..." She trailed off looking far away, ",I've prayed to the Night Goddess to give me another mate but it can't be done unless I break the bond, but I'm afraid to do it, from the stories I heard about breaking a mate bond, hurts both mates, and I can't do that, not now when I'm so close to closing this place down." She wiped a tear from her eyes and looked away from us.

I looked down at my hands, here I was days ago, complaining about people lying to me my whole life, now that doesn't even matter and here's my biological mother, telling me her broken love story. Her life has been so full of hurt and her heart had broken over and over again. I walked up to her and just gave her a big hug and then next, I was wrapped up in a big giant hug from Derek, he had both of us in his arms. We stayed like that for a few moments, just breathing it all in and I felt my mother beginning to relax.

She smiled at us and held our cheeks in her hands, "My babies."

I know I just met her, but I felt her love for me. I want to know more about her and get to know my brother as well, "So, what's your name?" I asked.

She smiled, "Aria Sawyer."

"You don't mind if I call you by your name right? I mean, I know your my mom, it's just weird to call you mom, when I have a mom back home? Sorry, I don't like beating around the bush." I smiled.

She shook her head, "I don't mind at all, Davina."

"Okay, so, you've been spending a lot of time, coming down to see my dad just to strengthen the mate bond again because you get weak?" I asked her.

She nodded her head, "We'd just meet for a few hours, have coffee, sit and talk about you both, Yes, Derek, he knows all about you as well. Then after our meetings we'd go our separate ways."

"Yeah, but how'd you get in contact with eachother?" I asked.

"Well once we became mate bonds, if we marked eachother we'd be able to link our minds to be able to communicate anytime, no matter how far we were. We mated so it was easy to communicate when we're close by. But if fully mated we'd hear for miles apart." she said.

I sighed, "Great."

"What is it?" she asked.

"I need Hardin and Jake back." I told her.

She nodded, "Right, So, what were they?"

"Hardin is a Vampire and Jakes a werewolf." I told them.

"Okay, um, They both might still be locked up in Demetri's cellar, or dungeons, for now until they move them elsewhere, I know they sell off Werewolf men to Men or women to have, and as for Vampires, they force them to work or death. I can try find them and figure a way for Derek to buy them for you. I better go now, Derek, listen for my call in case you have to come buy them." She said as she puts on the hooded cloak again and rushes out the door.

"Wait!" I got up, "You don't even know what they look like!"

She came running back in, "Right."

"Hardin is tall, and has Brown hair long in the middle, with a medium Stubble, and golden eyes, Jake is average height and weight, he has Black hair, dark colored eyes and his hair is probably a mess." I giggled.

She smiled at me, "Gotcha." She left.

"I hope she finds them." I say.

"What are you going to do about your double mate bond?" Derek asked.

I groaned and put my hands over my face, "I have no idea." I literally had no idea, I was hoping for more information that will help Hardin and Jake both. The way my Aria was explaining it also hurts, knowing that the three of us can also suffer the same fate. The only difference is between our stories, is that it wasn't a secret between us, we all know they are both my destined mates.

"How was it living with our Father?" Derek asked me then, I looked at him. Feeling grateful to have change the subject. I have a new found brother now, who grew up in such a horrible place.

"Life with my dad, was great. I grew up in the country, grew up alongside horses, cattle, wildlife and nature. He taught me how to hunt and track deer for our family to have wild meat. We went out fishing a lot down by the lakes. We own a lot of land, well actually I own a lot of land back home, I was supposed to take over after my dad retired and moved away, but I felt I wasn't ready and left it to my- our sister Alley to hold on to until I was ready." I sighed, missing home more than ever now.

"Wow, it must have been like living in paradise over there. Your lucky." He looked away for a second.

"How was it growing up here?" I asked.

"Not so bad, well I loved the training I did, that's all I did, actually, come to think of it. I still train, everyday. I grew up knowing what I am and what I wanted to do later but all that was cut off from me when mother told me I had to stay and be close with our enemy. She's been planning an attack on this place for years, planning carefully. You see, when she went out to take down Demetri's list of his enemies, she was gaining friends everywhere she went, She found more enemies of Demetri, enemies of the people that live here, he stole from a lot of families, Covens, Clan, Packs, you name it, they're angry, mom went telling them all where their loved ones are, they gave her pictures of the missing ones and she found all of them here. She even spoke with few in here and they're all holding on by a thread, wanting to leave but can't. Any day now they'll be a great battle here. When that day comes, I'm going to go help get as many people out as I can. If your here when that happens, I want you to run as fast as you can out of here. Don't come back until me or mom find you. Okay?" he says to me.

"Yeah but, I'm probably the strongest thing here and can probably help better with the fight." I said.

"No. Because there is a chance that we might lose, I can't let you stay here if there's that chance. They'll capture you and use you and torture you to get you to kneel for them and you'll be their greatest weapon or they'll use you to breed, if we lose." He told me sternly.

"Okay fine." I told him.

"You have to promise when I say run, you run." He told me.

I squinted my eyes at him, "I barely know you."

He rolled his eyes, "You don't have to know someone in order to do a promise. That's how you learn to trust them by seeing if they can keep their word. How else do you earn trust, without giving a shot? Trust doesn't just happen. It starts with action."

I thought for a moment. He does have a good point, but I don't want to leave here without Hardin or Jake. "I won't leave without them." I Peirce my lips.

"You might have to, until I find you and if I'm not with them, I promise I will help you look for them." He says, his grey eyes pleading.

I sighed, "Fine, I'll run and escape from here as fast as I can. As long as you promise to help me, no matter how long it takes." I asked.

He nodded, "I promise." He held out his hand and I took it and shook his hand saying, "I promise too."

He smiled, "Good. Well it's like 4 am, I guess we can both use some sleep, breakfast will be in the morning, you can sleep in, but I'll need you down after lunch for some training."

I groaned as I got up, "Is that how its always going to be as a supernatural? Is train all the time?"

"Well, most training is for your wolf, she needs regular training to keep strong and healthy, also she needs training in combat, Even thought your playing as a vampire, you must remain a vampire even outside this room. So we'll train you to fight the way vampires do." He frowned and turned to me, "I have got to figure out how I can get your wolf to go for runs. It's hard, because he has spies all over. This room is the safest place to talk. When I first got here, I checked everything in here for hidden cameras and hidden voice recorders, there was nothing, this room is also soundproof. Anyway I'm beat, I have to be up by 5:30 am.. But I won't sleep now. I'll be leaving for training. So you'll have this place to yourself for a bit." Then he reached something inside his pocket, and threw it to me, "Oh yeah, before I forget, your set of keys and the passcodes to the elevator and our door. Well goodnight." He says as he walks to the kitchen taking out stuff for food.

I put the keys in my pocket and walked to my room, "Goodnight." I say. Great, I have more training coming my way. Just when I was thinking I would get away from it. I locked the door and took off my clothes and jumped into bed. Well, all this can be worse. I could have been losing my virginity right now with only goddess knows who.

I shudder at the thought of that, then remembered the other girls that were on stage with me, they weren't so lucky. I closed my eyes, wonder where they're from and maybe they're families missed them.

Before I can drift off to sleep there was a knock on my door. I groaned, rolling off the bed and grabbed a robe from the walk in closet and opened the door to my mother. Whoa that was fast, "Come to the living room." She said and walked off.

Frowning after her, I walked out and sat down on the armchair. I waited for her to speak. "Well, I went to the Mansion, to speak with one of the guards if there were more of you that were brought in tonight, he told me that there were 7 and you and the women have been sold already. They said there were there were 2 men. He said, that they were planning on interrogating them and then eventually give my son to train them. They want to know they're full story." Her eyes looked troubled.

"Well, that doesn't sound so bad.." I trailed off as Derek banged his hand on the table and Aria was shaking her head at me. "What?" I stood up then, "What's wrong?" I looked between them.

Derek said, "They'll be tortured for weeks even starved until they break and after they break, they then cut the wolf up in places of his body and cleaning the blood in Wolfsbane making the wounds heal slowly until he breaks from whatever pack he pledge himself to and then makes a oath with this one. As for the vampire, he'll lose limbs and they'll keep them on ice and then place them back onto his body, making him heal over n over until he breaks and swears his oath for this pack. Then, they both have to go through a trial to prove their loyalty. First by beating 10 of their own kind, then, to save a few children from falling off the roof one by one or by twos, they toss at least 5 of them." He shakes his head in disgust. "Later, they then force them to make love to a few women, while the sickos watch them. If they don't hurt the woman or if they refuse them, they get sent back to be broken again. They have to go through it, after that they then get thrown back in the dungeon to eat n drink and heal, they then wash them off in front of everyone, then they send them off to live here, but they come in their birthday suits." He looked at me.

My ears couldn't believe what I just heard, "What kind of sick twisted a**hole does that? Who forces someone to do all that, even have s*x with women? Why is s*x such a big thing around here?"

"Because the 4 main leaders love it, they're sick and twisted that way, they think that a man is not a man if they don't have s*x with woman. It's why they've been looking at Derek suspiciously as he went long without a woman but they look away now that he bought you. List, I know this is all sick but I need you two to pretend to be something when you both leave." Aria told us.

I looked at Derek and he looked at me then, "Don't worry, we'll just hug once in awhile and hold hands or you can hold my elbow, that's it. It's a good thing I'll mostly be training when we leave from here."

I nodded my head, "Right, so I'm just going to go to bed." I muttered.

I hated this. I'm going to find a way out but I am way too tired for all of this right now. I don't even want to deal with all this right now. I hope I can sleep the whole day away. I don't even want to hear anymore stuff that will hurt me. All of it just hurts. I wish I hadn't ran away. I should have dealt with this like the adult that I am. Then, I wouldn't have known about my real mom or twin brother. I need a long good break after all this. I sighed and turned off the lights and took off my robe after I locked the door again.

I laid down and cried. Thinking about what Hardin and Jake on what they have or might be going through because of me. They're going to be tortured, broken, and forced to betray everything they have ever fought against. I have got to try and think of a way to get them out. I wonder...

I get up and put on my robe again and walked out of my room, "Hey!" I say as I walked into the livingroom where Derek and Aria were still sitting and eating, discussing the training for tomorrow or in an hour. They both looked up at me when I walked in, "Is there a way you can somehow buy them? Or ask to do the breaking yourself here?" I asked Derek.

Derek frowned, "I've never thought about it, I mean, Demetri wanted my mother to break the men for him long time ago."

Aria nods, "I can go and ask. I won't be back until lunch or maybe the afternoon as they'd have to wait for Demetri's approval first. I'd have to wait around."

"If he agrees, I'll be out of the training area for awhile." Derek says.

I nod okay, "Well, what should I do until then?"

They both look at me, "Sleep." they said at the same time, then Aria says, "You'll need your energy for tomorrows training in combat. We'll be pushing you hard. Then you'll have a human brought to you for feeding. Then more combat training."

I groaned, they laughed, "Fine, just try get them out and thank you so much for helping me even though we just met. You both are doing so much for me."

"It's the least I can do for missing out on your life." Aria says, "Now off to bed."
