“Why did it happen like that? It wasn’t supposed to happen like that” Sadie whispered as I stared at her “Why did she die?” She continued looking at me. I frowned when I saw her tear stained cheeks.
“Baby it's just a movie don’t cry” I said placing my hands on either side of her face and ran my thumbs under her eye to wipe her tears. Sadie looked back that the T.V then at me see the character’s husband looking sad on the screen and the sad music made her tears flow faster
“come on now love” I said softly as I snuggled her on my chest I pulled the blanket over both of us
“They were supposed to get married and have children like we are”
