Rose's POV
The ceremony ended an hour later and before the guests left, they wished me and Kane a fruitful consummation. I would conceive tonight and bear the heir to the throne of the Moonfyre pack.
My father's 'prayer,' was the longest. He took me by the hand and led me aside, away from the eavesdropping ears of the guests who were now staring at us.
"This is our chance Rose," he began sternly, gesticulating with his hands as though I were retarded. "Do everything to make sure the Alpha consummates your union. Make sure you conceive tonight. Do you understand?"
