"I will not repeat myself Rose. Close the door and lock it in with the key. Right now!"
My legs turned to stone beneath me and I stopped in my tracks, feeling my heart thrumming underneath my bare chest. The seriousness in Kane's tone was so intense that it weighed heavily on the atmosphere in the room.
I shuddered heavily,a million grisly possibilities flashing across my mind in vivid pictures. I was already in trouble as it would turn out, getting in another trouble with Kane would only worsen my plight.
