"We should have left Grovesmoor's house before Elder Raven showed up," Alisha said, the instant we entered the room.
Elder Raven was so angry at me that he almost raised his hand to slap me in front of Grovesmoor house. In short, I and Alisha ran away as fast as we could.
"Do you have any idea what is happening to Kane?" I finally asked as I settled into the nearest couch. I hadn't seen him ever since our meeting the previous night.
"I am not sure," she answered slowly, advancing towards me, with a tray of weird smelling herbs in her arm. "I think he's still asleep."
