I and Alicia spent the rest of the afternoon perfecting our schemes. We rehearsed some lines, contacted the other maid and convinced them to join us and more importantly, adjusted my makeup.
Alicia maintained that if the person who poisoned me was truly in the castle, I would have to be more cautious with my looks. Because he would be wondering why I hadn't turned white, or why I wasn't dead.
Those words made me remember the person who trashed my room, and I concluded that this person must have been looking for some incriminating evidence to use against me.
