"I'm glad at the way this turned out. Grovesmoor and Samantha didn't see it coming at all." The sound of our footsteps echoed rhythmically through the wide hallway as we walked along. Kane left the meeting without explaining much, and it added to the turmoil of anxiety in my mind.
