I wasn't allowed to think. The guards grabbed me by the arm and forced me out of the boat, leaving me in shock of how they managed to figure out my location such that they laid an ambush for me.
It was as though they knew where I went to, and had just been waiting for me to arrive. These thoughts ravaged my mind like a whirlwind as these people cuffed my hands behind my back. All the servants in Kane's castle never actually respected me, so I wasn't that surprised at the way they dragged me to the castle as though I were a common animal.
On getting to the manor,I discovered that Kane had called for an emergency trial and that added to the wave of surprise in my mind. It all seemed to have been prepared beforehand, waiting for my arrival.
