Rose's POV
Everyone in the hall turned their gazes on me and I could feel heat oozing out of their hateful eyes. Wolves and witches were mortal enemies and the offense I had been charged with was punishable by death.
I turned around now and threw a glance at Kane, but his gaze was fixed intently on the crowd. However, I sensed an unusual aura around him. He seemed to be trying to avoid my case, but I refused to believe that he had been forced into betraying me.
"Thank you for telling us the truth Ma'am Lunar. You can now proceed to your seat honorably."
A boisterous round of applause and loud cheering emanated from the crowd as Lunar Shara spun on her heels and sashayed to her seat.
"Before we proceed with the pronunciation of the verdict,we would like to call on Elder Raven. "
