Ronnie's POV
Max and I stand at the bar, both of us with a drink in hand. We're at this dinner party for work but having one drink never hurt to get the tension to leave your body. Sabrina, my assistant, is walking around to see who is attending tonight; not everyone RSVP's like I'd appreciate.
The dining area is well-lit with chandeliers spread around the ceiling. The wood floors are shiny and well-maintained, and the walls are a hunter-green color. The darkness of the walls combined with the bright lights makes for a nice welcoming and warm feeling. There's a long table in the center of the room with a black tablecloth and name cards for every guest in attendance.
