When the game was over, I watched Ben walk inside the field house.  He didn’t wave or acknowledge that I was in the stands when he walked past the bleachers.  Dean sat with me, keeping me company while Ben changed.  When it began to grow darker, Dean and I walked to the parking lot. “Thanks for hanging out with me today,” I said reaching Ben’s truck.  “Yeah, no problem.  It was kind of like old times,” he said, smiling.  “I’ll see you later,” I waved as Dean turned and walked to his car.  I got in the truck, put the keys in the ignition, and waited for Ben.
