LISA.
My body shook like I was being electrocuted, and I found myself unable to turn because I could feel his breath on the back of my neck. He was that close.To my surprise, I felt warmth evolving me and Ariel urging me to move closer to him. It was like a grip was holding me down so I couldn't move. I felt as he stepped closer to me, his mouth right against my ear.My eyes grew wide, and my legs wobbled. I almost fell, but then he caught me swiftly, his arm finding its way around my waist to stabilize me.His touch sent a wave of electricity running through me. I immediately got out of his grasp not liking how I was reacting to him. I slowly turned around to face him, and saw him looking at me, his eyebrows furrowed.I took my eyes to the ground, feeling nervous, and bowed." Thank you, Majesty" I appreciated him for not letting me land on my butt, but then I got no response for a minute and raised my head to look at him, only to find his gaze still on me, but intently.I struggled to breathe, feeling my insides squirming and my clothes suddenly feeling too hot on me.I looked at him, suddenly finding him so handsome, with his short, chocolate, brown hair. I felt like running my hand through it.He had matching grey orbs which gave dim sparkle. A smooth jawline and rosy lips which looked so damn tempting, I felt like biting them." Caution yourself, horny woman," Ariel scolded me, chuckling in the process, but I just ignored her, for she couldn't blame me, could she?He was in an armless, royal robe that showed his huge, powerful arms. I imagined them cupping my face tenderly as I let out a smile. The first three buttons of his robe were unbuttoned, allowing me a glimpse of his rock-hard chest.I swallowed my saliva, feeling a huge lump in my throat. Now, I observed him closely; he and Alexander looked nothing alike. They even had different hair colors, which was, odd, but strangely, the same orbs." Perhaps his mother was a black-haired woman?" Ariel suggested, and I agreed, for I never saw what she looked like, so that would probably be it.Alexander had long, black hair while his father's was short. Perhaps he cut his." You have not answered my question, miss." His dark, deep voice sent shivers down my spine, and I gulped my saliva for the hundredth time today.' Why did he have to catch me?' I found myself wondering, throwing Athena into a state of baffle." Uhn, wasn't that your purpose here?" She questioned, but more like reminding me at the same time. I faked a smile, looking into his grey orbs, then dropping my gaze to the floor instantly.Something in me couldn't stand the intense look in his eyes. It was like he wanted to rip me into two. " I-I c-ca cam. .. . " I stuttered continuously." You what?" He inquired and for the very first time in my life. I found myself fearing a man, unable to speak in his presence." That's a first," Ariel commented, and I gritted my teeth, wishing she was right in front of me so I could strangle her neck." Well, go easy on that thought will you? I am you, remember?" She reminded me and I tried to calm myself down." Young miss" He called again, frustration obvious in his tone. He was probably tired of me zoning out on him.
" Nothing," I told him and hurriedly turned to dash out of the garden but tripped once again. I didn't care and continued running out. " Easy, young miss," he called out after me, but I didn't reply and just covered my face to run out in shame, my cheeks turning pink for sure." Why do I always have to make a fool of myself?" I questioned not looking at where I was going till I bumped into a heavy rock."Ow," I yelped and reared backward in shock, about to scold the blind intruder when I came face to face with the smirking bastard who ripped my heart into pieces in front of everyone." Alexander," I acknowledged, fury running through me and all he could do was flash his rotten teeth at me." Good to see you too, Lisa" He greeted, calling out my name softly, letting it roll out his tongue. Surprisingly, if this had happened three days ago, I would have had red cheeks but now, I felt disgust crawl through me.I looked at him, bale obvious in my orbs as I inquired." Where is your bodyguard of a bride, didn't she follow you out today as usual?" I mocked and the smile on his face disappeared instantly as his face scrunched up into a frown.These days, those two have always been tagging along like without one another, they would not be able to breathe." Is that jealousy speaking?" He asked, a frown still on his face and then I roared into a loud laughter, startling him." Jealousy? Oh please!" I told him and walked past him elegantly. I didn't give a damn what those two did anymore." Good. Then you can drop this idea of revenge because I am doubting its success now, with the way you acted in his presence. You just blew your chance" Ariel scolded, reminding me of my foolishness.I let out a weary sigh, knowing she was right. What I needed was finally served to me on a golden platter, but I lost my guts and ruined everything. I have to find a way to meet him again.Days passed and I still had not summoned the courage to go see him or stalk him as I usually did. One cool evening, I was strolling through the palace garden with no plan in mind, and I saw him playing hockey all by himself.I summoned the courage and walked over to him and before I could, he beat me to it."
