11 Eddie entered his home pod. Smelled like home. Alma had lit two candles on the dining room table, and from the looks of the dishes in the sink, everyone else had eaten already. The table was set for one. He sat down, feeling a hunk of metal shift in his pocket. The dead man’s pendant. He took it out and laid it on the table. He ate quickly.
