"James's light getting so much prettier," Luna observed happily during lunch, while Nova created encouraging sparkles around their newest friend. "See? All sparkly now instead of tangly." both girls kept an eye on him all morning as the day went on.
The former bully had become their fiercest defender, along with his once-mean pack. Through their bond, Viktor and Aria marveled at their daughters' ability to transform enemies into family. James made sure both are okay and nobody messes with him.
"Remember how to make proper shine?" Luna asked while Nova demonstrated with gentle light.
"Deep breaths when angry," James recited, his entire demeanor changed from their first encounter. "Find happy light inside. Think about good things instead of mean things." Luna smiled
