Guardian's Dance
"Adrian needs special dance with Mama," Luna announced while Nova created gentle spotlight starlight. "Because saving makes him extra family today." Aria smile up at Adrian as I released her to dance with him.
Still wearing his blood-stained shirt beneath his jacket, Adrian tried to demur. "The bride should dance with—" I sighed.
"With her guardian," Viktor finished, surprising everyone as he guided Aria toward Adrian. Through their bond, she felt her mate's wolf's profound gratitude toward the man who'd taken a bullet for their happiness. He literally took a bullet meant for Aria and Viktor couldn't thank him enough. Each time someone tried to hurt or shoot a member of Viktor's family Adrian took the hit risking death.
