Wounded Guardian The attack was meant for Luna. Adrian saw the void-blade coming and didn't hesitate - he threw himself between the weapon and his princess. The blade, designed to corrupt light itself, sank deep into his chest. His loud grunt of pain made Luna scream loudly. "My Adrian!" Luna's scream shook the compound as her protector fell. Through their pack bonds, they felt her terror as corrupting darkness spread from the wound. He wasn't doing well. "Stay back, princess," Adrian gasped as Luna tried to reach him.
