Lilith's POV;
My mouth opened, and I clamped them shut immediately and shook my head. It was impossible.
“You are lying—”
“Then how did you get here? You know that b***h won't let you just leave.”
It was then that I began to remember. My memories had been hazy, and I wasn't sure what was real and what wasn't, but I was sure that I had seen a look of shock on Cassandra's face.
“I'll get a maid to be with you shortly,” he said, moving to the door.
“What about the wedding?” I blurted out just before he could leave, and he halted in his tracks without turning around.
“What do you think?” He said this as he walked out.
