INSURRECTION IV

The Minotaurs all went back to Wastelands, they met with Darca's special guard and told him how everything went. They asked if he knows any of Darca's weaknesses but he responded negatively but promised to find out. The armies gathered all their stuff and left the castle so that Darca won't meet them back there.

Darca spent time in the woods searching for his wand. Due to large number of fallen trees, he found it difficult to locate his wand. he spent the whole day which bought the beast more time to escape. Darca returned late in the night and decided to go to bed. The next day, he called attention of the beast in order to punish the army but only their females and children with some few males that wasn't part of the revolution showed up . Darca searched the whole of the castle but they were no where to be found. He checked their storage room and discovered more than half of the food stock were missing. He checked the armory and it was also the same. their finest armors were all missing. He vowed to catch the beast and crush them.

Ever since Jeremy's encounter with queen Diana, Jeremy has being avoiding her. Diana was hurt but she still stood her ground. After Jeremy caused panic in the ring when he and Darca fought the beast, Diana decided to visit Jeremy.

She entered his chamber and asked why he attacked the beast, even when she gave orders for them not to but to allow the Wastelanders sort themselves out. Jeremy explained that he didn't attack the beast, he explained how he was patrolling outside the ring when he encountered Darca. How the beast attacked both him and Darca and he have to defend himself.

Darca walked up to Lydia and asked her why she allowed the armies left on her watch. Lydia explained to him that she was very much aware when they beast were leaving but because he said she has no military control strategy; she decided to do nothing and let him handle things his own way.

Darca was infuriated, she asked Lydia to use her tracking spell to find the army but Lydia threatened not to do it. She told Darca that when the issue was starting; before it escalated to what it was that she warned him and for the fact that he didn't listen to her; she would not help him. She asked Darca to sort himself out because she would never waste such spell because of what his arrogance and ignorance caused.

Darca realised that she actually has a point, he called his special guard; the troll and asked him to take one of the Chimeras and search all over Wastelands for his missing army.

After a week, the troll met with the Minotaur's commander Cazi and told him that he might have a solution to Darca's immunity. According to him, he said that Darca has phobia for mercury. According to him, he said;

"I don't know why Darca fears mercury or effects it might've on him but it worth giving a trial".

Cazi asked him;

"are you sure about this?; have you verified that?"

the troll response was;

"I'm not sure; but there's only one way to find out"

The Minotaur asked him the method he was talking about and he responded;

"going another round with him, but this time; we'll fight we mercury".

The Minotaur chuckled and said;

"mercury we want; mercury we shall get"

He turned to his men and shouted;

"spread out, search for any oasis, any place there's superheated water and find as much cinnabar as you can. we're gonna design jewellery for someone special"

The beast tried as much as they could to get cinnabar but they were able to pick only few which was not enough to mould weapons, the decided to melt it, collect the liquid mercury and use it to mould the blades of their axes and arrows.

Darca gave his special bodyguard a name; he called him Arga. after two weeks of Darca's army disappearance. Arga informed him that he has gotten the location of the soldiers. Darca decided not to be seen by the beast while going there; he asked Lydia to teleport him. He had with him three armies with Arga who made them the fourth one. Lydia later teleported Darca and his men after much hesitation.

Darca appeared in an area surrounded by mountains. he asked Arga if he was sure about the place and he confirmed it saying that the armies were living inside the cave. Darca raised his wand and created a shield around the cave. he shouted;

"where are you peaches? common, come to papa"

immediately, a roar was heard and about twenty trolls fired arrows on Darca but He used his wand and the arrows burned in air. About thirty cyclops and Minotaurs charged after them from the mountain top. Darca waved his wand and the mountains became slippery why the all fell to the ground. he walked towards them and shouted;

"To save a lot of lives today; I will like to challenge you on one on one battle. if you win; I will leave Wastelands for you guys, but if I win; you all win only do what I says. do you accept or yield?"

Cazi who was the Minotaur in charged of the rebellious army walked to the front and said in their beast language;

"if only we get to set the conditions"

Darca turned to Arga and asked for interpretation, Arga interpreted it for him and he replied that he was okay with that. the miniature said;

"the rule is simple, we are to use weapons but no magic. the fight is to the dead and no one is to withdraw once it's started".

Darca chuckled and handed his wand to Arga. he then said;

"I'm okay with that, after all I beat all of you together the last time without using my wand".

Cazi said aside to himself;

"this is getting better than I thought"

The beast created a space, one of the most aggressive Minotaur entered the scene with two axe and roared, Darca laughed and picked up a dagger. he walked towards the Minotaur and asked;

"How do you want me to do it?; a plunge at the heart, or s***h by throat or do you want me to finish it off with a stab in the head?. Oh, I'm sure gonna enjoy this. gimme all you got".

The Minotaur punched Darca in the face while he fell among the beast, all the beast cheered him. He dashed towards Darca and try to hit him with the axe but Darca jumped behind him, he kept trying to hit Darca while Darca kept jumping around. After toying with the beast for twenty minutes, he decided to hurt the beast.

The beast dashed towards Darca to attack him but Darca rolled in between it's legs and slashed him by the thigh. the beast roared and spun but Darca slashed him by the muscles. He flung his axe but Darca ducked and stabbed the beast by the belly. The beast tried hit him with the axe but he kept rolling backwards. when he got close to the foot of the mountain, he spun round in the air and slashed the beast by the cheeks. he threw his dagger in the air, he grabbed the beast by the horn and bend him while the dagger fell on the back of the beast stabbing him. He now said;

"for my finishing move;"

He punched the beast with an uppercut which got the beast falling on it's back while the dagger plunged deeper.

The beast started hailing Darca which got him carried away, the Minotaur on the ground picked up and arrow and stuck it into Darca's leg. Darca screamed in pain, he was surprised because he knew that he was immune to weapons. He staggered backwards while the Minotaur was advancing, he couldn't performed as before due to his wounds. The Minotaur picked up his axe and tried to strike Darca but he jumped in air, the miniature used his other ax to knock him down.

Darca managed to pulled out the arrow. his opponent advanced forward but he rolled back, jumped in air and superman punch his opponent while he got hit on the ribs by one of the Minotaur's axe. He quickly leapt on his feet and dashed towards the Minotaur, he jumped up and rolled down the Minotaur's back pulling his dagger at the same time, getting on the floor; he spun and slashed the ankle, before the Minotaur could turn, he rolled to his front and slashed some veins, The beast roared and dropped one of his axe, Darca picked the ax and struck the beast with it. the beast staggered back and tried to hit Darca but Darca use the axe to block the the struck; he then plunged his dagger deep into the belly of the Minotaur. Darca threw his axe up and jumped after it, he caught it in the air; spinning in the air he plunged the axe into the Minotaur's head while he fell on the ground screaming in pain.

Darca was on the side tending his wounds when the Cazi came to him, pointed his axe at him and said;

"congratulations, you won the battle far and square"

he then turned to his men and shouted;

"Attack!!!"
