after the first man was made, his friendship with the supreme being was so enviable. it loved him so much more than all it had ever made, so much so that it gave him a name "Adam" - a name was something so sacred that only it had!!

it also allowed him to call it by its name, one we never knew it had for a long time and one we - the other beings couldn't even dare to mention!!!

it gave him a whole world filled with beings specifically created to be lesser than man and the Dominion over them all.

it also allowed it the honour of multiplying himself although not by the works of his own hands alone.

all of these and more are the many benefits it bequeathed to man.

jealousy thrived in the heart of all beings, even the and the mighty were no left out.

the nobles nourished this Ill intent in their followers and clansmen with the hate and ridicule they thought they had been slandered with.

amidst this chaos and growing anarchy, both I and he who chaired the counsel did our very best to quell the raging fury in the hearts of all beings, we had to appeal to them with the one thing that it hadn't given man.

we made them realise that it hadn't given man the power of knowledge of good and evil nor the power of eternal life.

that though it cherishes man, he is nothing but a dumb being fated to die soon.

this we said to make all beings sit back and watch.

at first, he would chaired the counsel insisted that there was a flaw in what we thought and said, but after much persuasion and reassurance from me, he came to believe what soon turned out to be a lie.

as if to mock us, it made and gave a COMPANION to Adam - borne of his bone and flesh, the very first SHE was fashioned, for she was made of he, and both of them were to, together enjoy the convenants of it.

exactly a decade after every being had given up on their revolt and abandoned their chants of disagreements, just as soon as the warriors had hung their shields and the horse men had sheathed their swords, it planted trees in the world of man.

oh yes, the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and the tree of eternal life, the greatest of the tree kind - trees that will soon be sealed away forever for neither man nor any other being will eat of it.

every being was fated to die from the beginning, nothing it had made was so like it.

only it was eternal, and although beings could live for long, some out lived others for there were standards and class.

nobles could live for an eon, but still, death was inevitable, and there was no such thing as reincarnation even then.

the other lesser beings organised themselves and came to the counsel meeting.

he who chaired the counsel and I dispelled them and told them all that we would devise a way out of this, for man must not be made immortal over us all.

together we laid out a plan, our proposal for it.

I didn't do much really, since I was expected to be lazy, I just made sure to guide them according to the vision it had given me since the beginning - and that of course without letting them know they were puppets - funny how we are all and will continue to be it's puppets.

The council master decided to use the free will it had given Adam against them both, he - the counsel master, was to spear head our proposition.

and so when the day came for the sons of it to gather, we began the first steps of our plan .

the counsel master said, "what is man that you love him so"

and so the supreme being said "even in all the power and glory, he is neither tempted not shaken to fall . his innocence precedes him."

"innocent ?, lord He is not what he is because he knows, rather he is so because you wouldn't let him, you have created an avenue for him to be just like you - knowledge filled and eternal, yet you haven't let him have it. is it not because you know of a truth that he isn't worth it, that he will be worse than the worst of us?

you have loved him above us all even when he is not in any way an equal to the least of the nobles!

he is a being below the serving class and should by default, serve under us; for he is the least of all the spirit beings.

"so you intend to play god!"

I wouldn't dare, but since you've said it, allow me to test his loyalty to you.

"very well then, since you had dared to conceive this amongst yourselves, henceforth, I proclaim that when Adam shifts allegiance from me, I shall give his life into your hands and all you nobles sha be gods; though my errand beings, you will be man's master.

And when that day doth come, I shall bless you with power over man and all that he has, even his descendants.

I shall call you by your names of which no one hath ever heard.

And your whole lot shall be lords over his affairs and kings over his heart.

for you shall rule his dealings as you see fit . I shall let you do what you want with man and only in his birth and death will I supercede you, but if by an agreement made by man or by a result caused by his actions, a premise is created, I will allow you the occasional power over his birth and death . Though this day do I swear by my word even to the end of time, that the soul of man will always be mine , to punish or gratify .

and so the first war of spirit beings broke out.

every spirit being and nobles alike devised and executed plans of battle, seduction, misinformation, intimidation and many other weapons they had at their disposal. they all wanted to make man fail his maker. the battle went on to last 7 decades, only coming to an end around when the counsel master had perfected and employed his deception. of course I never partook in any of the wars, i was supposedly too lazy for that, but I did visit IT , three times, behind the scenes.

At first , it was to receive IT'S WISDOM OF ALL, after which my subsequent visits were to receive visions.

visions that were extremely important and radically sensitive.

In all of my wisdom, it took me the entire duration of the wars to DECIPHER the visions, a little something to keep me busy.

the last battle, ended so fast than any of the previous ones.

the counsel master upon finalizing his great plan, descended into the realm of man and lived in the body of the serpent as it's lord.

he immediately made friends with man's companion who he named EVE , for she was crucial to his plans.

in appreciation for what he had done for her she introduced him to her company who welcomes him into their home unsuspecting.

he continued to live with them day after day, solidifing and affirming his ploy.

one day eventually when Adam was out in the field by himself, and eve accompanied by the serpent went to fetch water by the eastern confluence, there he quizzed her.

"and what is it about the golden tree of life and the red and blue tree of knowledge of good and evil ?"

"YARA has said not to eat of the fruits until IT says otherwise "

"you mean to say you call the supreme being by it name, YARA ?"

"yes we do, we have a loving relationship, you should meet him soon"

"no I don't think I can, such a being as myself is not fit to come before him"

"do not be silly, it is in no way of such character, it is so loving ".

"no thank you, I don't want to be in his presence, it will be too much an honour for me. regardless, why do you think IT has forbidden you from the trees?"

"I never said he forbade us from every tree, but he did say not to eat of the gold and red-blue tree till IT says to"

"yes I heard you the first time, but why do you think IT said so"

"I don't think, I just do as IT says"

"oh my dear, if only you could think of your accord you would know that, none of the trees should be avoided"

"and why would I want to think of my own volition?"

"for that is what makes a good leader!

a true leader and ruler must be decisive in himself.

let me go on to ask you this, suppose there is a issue among some of the so called animals you rule, a matter so great and urgent that neither you nor adam could resolve at a whim, what would you do? "

" simple, we'd all call down the presence of YARA."

"you see what I am getting at, you cannot make decisions for yourself, for there will come a time when the ones you make will be undermined because, the people who hear your verdict will have come to know that the final power most times does not lie with you, and so SOME OF TIMES they will make an appeal to YARA , By themselves, for themselves !"

"and is that not a good thing, I mean, that way even I can be rest assured that my decisions will not go unchecked and justice will ultimately be served"

"yes it is, but what if by eating these forbidden fruits you gain the knowledge of good and evil as well as the life of immortal"

"immortality is ITS domain, and it decides who IT gives, I do not want what is not given to me"

"if you say so"

this thread of conversation continued for days, for the serpent, always finding time and means to be alone with his eve would seek to convince her with altered truths, until the last day when she couldn't counter the serpent's reason.

whilst the serpent and eve were by the fire making what would be their dinner, the serpent said

"did IT tell you there will be any certain consequence for eating those fruits "

"you still haven't given up huh, okay.

IT did say IF we eat the fruit we would die. "

"of course you would die, there is no being in all the realms capable of STAYING alive for all of eternity, except those in the heavens.

IT had lied to you, IT is keeping the real truth from you, for if you do eat of the fruits of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, indeed you would know what you ought to do from thence "

"you mean to say I will be self sufficient huh, you mean I would be able to draw up ideas of my own reasoning .

but why would I want that?"

"eve, I have loved you from the first day we met, and I have continuously grow in respect and love for you, I would never lie to you. listen for indeed you will die, but although you do not see the logic behind it all, I swear this day that if you do heed my words and eat of the tree of red-blue, I will make myself scarce and only when in dire need of me Will I surface . for truly truly you would be, finally be a lord in your own right "

finally eve gave in to the serpent's deception, not because she was greedy, nor because she was foolish, rather because she now wanted him - the serpent, to make himself scarce. although she had indeed

greatly enjoyed his company, she now felt it was high time he left.

And so together they went to get a fruit for eve from the red-blue true, she took just one, and after she had eaten it, she realised that she had sinned and desired to have her burden shared with another .

Immediately she pluck another fruit for Adam, by this time, the serpent had indeed left, however this was a time she genuinely needed his presence.

Now Adam was a rigid being, much more adamant and straight down the book. he will never compromise, never!

except well, when it comes from his companion.

eve knew this and she hid the fruit by the fire place and waited for his return from his daily work.

as he entered their humble home, eve said "welcome my dear friend, come, let me draw you a bath"

and Adam said "before that what do you have for me for lunch, I am so famished "

"I am so sorry I couldn't make anything today, but what I do have I know you wouldn't want "

" you know I do not have wants, I only eat whatever you provide "

"pardon me my friend, i have been quick to forget the man that you are for now indeed I am more godlike than you "

"what do you mean by that? in any case , whatever you have for me, indeed I will eat , because it comes from you"

"swear to me now, that whatever it is I give you, you will eat without complaint "

"where is all this coming from. verily, I swear this day that I will eat that which you have made available for me"

To that eve bursted out laughing for she had succeeded in getting A PARTNER IN CRIME, she went to the fire place and brought out the fruits .

in truth, it was beautiful. red-blue in colour and shapeless it was for it took whichever shape your mind so desire.

Right that moment, Adam wished for an ordinary apple instead and for the first time man wept, genuinely for he know he has erred.

Adam took the apple with tears in eyes and a heart filled with regrets and self pity, though never for once did he despise eve, for he knew her, and he knew she wouldn't have done this without someone or something .

as he ate the fruit, questions began to fill his head. he wanted to know how it came to this.

whilst eve filled him in on the story from the beginning, his eyes were open, and he saw that she was naked- something she never knew, even though she ate the fruit first, untill he said it. upon seeing her naked body he fell deeply in love with her and desired her for wife, he said in his heart " for she is indeed beautiful, I will stick with her, and if it comes to it, I will leave my father's(maker's) abode and go out with her, we will together make the best of our time"

after the whole story, Adam told eve she was naked- and she immediately realising it , ran out to cover herself with broad leaves, although she did come back with a wrapper she's made for Adam too.

they then, together desired to have the fruit of eternity, the golden fruit from whence the river of gold flows through out the world.

as they journeyed together, they professed love for one another and they swore to go thick and thin together, by the time they got to the tree, the realm guardians were already there, Adam thought, "someone must've tipped them off"

and in a thundering voice , the two guardians chorused, WHY HAVE YOU DEEMED IT FIT TO GO AGAINST YARA, HAS IT NOT BEEN KIND TO YOU. IF ONLY YOU HAD BEEN PATIENT AND ENDURING, IF ONLY YOU HAD RESISTED THE TEMPTER, IF ONLY YOU HAD FLED FROM THE SERPENT. IF ONLY YOU HAD NOT SEE IT GOOD TO KEEP SECRETS FROM ONE ANOTHER YOU WOULD HAVE TOLD ADAM OF THE LIAR'S ENSNARING.

YARA IN ALL IT'S GLORY HAD MADE THESE TREES FOR YOU AND YOUR DESCENDANTS, BUT NOW, YOU HAVE EATEN THE SOUR GRAPE AND YOUR CHILDREN WILL BEAR THE TOOTHACHE THEREOF. FOR YOU HAVE IN HASTE EATEN A HOT SOUP, AND SO HAVE BLISTERED YOUR TONGUE, HENCEFORTH YOU WILL LIVE IN AGONY!

WE DECREE THAT YOU WILL NEVER BE PARTAKERS OF THIS GARDEN AGAIN, YOU ARE DRIVEN OUT AND NEVER WILL YOU FIND YOUR WAY HERE AGAIN.

CURSED BE THOU WOMAN FOR YOU LED YOUR MAN TO SIN, CURSED BE THOU MAN FOR YOU SINNED BY YOUR WOMAN. AND CURSED BE THE SERPENT WHEREVER HE IS FOR HE ALLOWED HIMSELF TO BE USED AND HE HAD SINNED AGAINST YOU.

VERILY VERILY THIS DAY WE SAY UNTO YOU, NEVER SHALL YOU LIVE A THOUSAND YEARS .YOU AND YOUR DESCENDANTS WILL SURELY DIE.

WITH THESE HARSH PRONOUNCEMENTS, ADAM AND EVE MADE THEIR WAY OUT OF THE GARDEN, AND AS SOON AS THEY WERE OUT, THEY LOOKED BACK AND THE ENTRANCE TO THE GARDEN VANISHED.

WHEN THEY LOOKED FORWARD, YARA was already before them, for he had made provisions available for them, he had made Clothes from the hides of animals, a more convenient dressing.

they fell down on their faces and trembled before IT, because for the first time, they felt the intimidation of his might and fear enveloped them.

YARA sensing this, said

MY CHILDREN, I HAD GIVEN THIS WORLD INTO YOUR HANDS , I HAD MADE YOU LORD'S OF YOURSELVES , WITHOUT AN OVERLORD, AGAINST THE STANDARD OF THE OTHER BEINGS , YET YOU HAVE BY YOUR OWN HANDS HANDED THE AUTHORITY OVER TO THE NOBLES . FOR THIS DAY WILL ALL MY PROMISES BE MADE FULFILLED.

I HAVE NOW GIVEN YOU INTO THE HANDS OF THE NOBLES TO BE GODS OF YOU, FOR YOU WILL TOIL HERE IN THIS WORLD AND PRAY TO THEM , FOR ONLY THROUGH THEM WILL I BLESS YOU .

And immediately after, YARA was gone, never to be seen like that again, by JUST any man.

in the outer realm, the coronation began.

IT did fulfill all it's promises, IT named me ZAEIL and the counsel master was named ABARAEL

the counsel consisted of 200 nobles, and together, we were named and invited into the 7th heaven to dwell and rule from thence, for it was the least of the heavenly glory, fit for us.

And thus began the reigns of gods over man.

for the wars have ended and we have succeeded in robbing man of his glory !
