“Where are they?!” I searched, looking for both Mom and Derby.
Their scent was still fresh. I could tell I was getting closer to their location, but both of them where not on the same lane.
Derby’s scent was closer than Mom’s, so I headed for her direction first, hoping to get to her quickly before those creatures start whatever attack they are planning.
On getting to a tent filled with excited audience watching a dart game, I spotted Derby on the queue, getting ready to join the fun.
She was at the front, meaning it was her turn after the current players.
But with the problem on ground… “Derby!” I swam in and pulled her away.
