Ethan's storms out.

**A Love Beyond Sight** Melissa was talking with Ethan on the phone while sitting at the back of her favorite café. When she got done with the call, she had a sweet smile on her face. Raising her face to the sky above, she felt her heart swell with gratitude to God for giving her such a supportive and loving man who respected her despite her being blind. After reminiscing about the beautiful phone call they had, she went inside, said her prayers, and went to bed. The next day, at the Park Empire, Ethan was sitting in a conference hall, attending a meeting with some of the top company executives in Manhattan. They were all trying their best to impress him with their presentations, each project worth millions of dollars. However, Ethan Parker seemed displeased with all the presentations. His face slightly darkened, and his mouth arched into a thin smile as he scoffed, “Is this it?” The room fell silent, the executives shocked and confused by his bluntness. Alex Austin, one of the executives representing the Heaven Gates five-star hotels, spoke up hesitantly, “Sir, we put in a lot of effort, and we haven’t even finished yet. You haven’t even given most of us the chance to start.” Ethan’s cold gaze turned to Alex, his voice icy. “How dare you speak? Did I ask for your opinion? I’ve gone through each of your projects, and there’s nothing impressive here. This is child’s play. We will now be collaborating with the Heaven Gates hotel. You can tell that to your boss.” Alex’s face paled as he felt the weight of Ethan’s words. “Sir, do you know how hard I worked to ensure this project was a success?” he pleaded, but Ethan had already made up his mind. “Make sure to blacklist the Heaven Gates hotel from ever collaborating with Parker Enterprises,” Ethan ordered, his voice leaving no room for argument. He stood up, leaving Alex on his knees, stunned by the ruthless order. As Ethan walked out, his assistant, James Anderson, hurried to catch up. “Have you fixed the transportation process?” Ethan asked, his tone sharp. James, slightly taken aback, stammered, “Yes, yes, sir, I have. She should be here shortly.” Ethan’s expression darkened further. “I don’t care how you get her here, what means you use, or how much you need to pay. I want her here within a month.” With that, he turned and strode down the hall, exuding an aura of dominance that left everyone in his wake in awe. As he passed one of the offices, the women inside gushed over him, their eyes sparkling with admiration. “He’s so perfect!” one exclaimed. “Whoever marries him will be the luckiest woman ever,” another added. Ethan, however, paid no mind to their chatter. His thoughts were consumed by Melissa. “Melissa, my darling,” he whispered to himself as he entered his office. “I wish you were here with me. I feel like those hyenas would take you from me. I don’t want to lose you.” Meanwhile, a storm was brewing at the Parker mansion. Chloe Wilson, Ethan’s fiancée, had just arrived to visit his mother, Victoria Parker. As they sat together, Chloe expressed her frustrations about Ethan’s coldness. “He doesn’t even respond to my calls or texts,” she lamented. Victoria frowned. “I’ll have a word with him. He should treat you better.” Chloe smiled sweetly, knowing that Victoria’s words would only tighten her grip on Ethan. “Thank you, Mom,” she said, her eyes gleaming with ambition. Later that evening, Ethan returned home to find his parents waiting for him. “You need to call Chloe tonight,” his mother insisted. Ethan sighed, knowing he had to play along for now. “Okay, I will,” he replied, masking his true feelings. As he prepared for bed, his thoughts drifted back to Melissa. “I need to pretend for now until I can get Melissa here,” he resolved. “I can’t let my parents see that I don’t want to marry Chloe.” The day finally arrived when Melissa and her mother arrived at the airport. Ethan had arranged for them to be picked up in style, ensuring their comfort and safety. When they arrived at the luxurious villa he had secured for them, they were in shock. “Is this where Ethan lives?” Melissa’s mother asked, her voice trembling. “No, this is the house he bought for you and your daughter,” the assistant replied, handing them the ownership documents. Melissa and her mother exchanged incredulous glances. “What did you say?” they both exclaimed in unison. After signing the documents, they were shown around the villa, which was filled with luxury and comfort. Despite the overwhelming situation, they felt a sense of security. Just then, Ethan rushed into the villa, unable to contain his excitement. “Melissa, my love! Finally, you’re here with me! Is this a dream? I don’t want to wake up!” As their eyes met, the world around them faded. In that moment, nothing else mattered. They were finally together, and Ethan was determined to protect what was his, no matter the cost.
