I woke up due to someone tugging on the tether for the mind-link. I rubbed my eyes and opened it up. What?" I growled at the person who woke me up.
"Jeez grumpy pants, nevermind." Michael chuckled.
"Mike I was asleep. What's up?" I asked with a sigh.
"Is Everly with you?"
I glanced around the room, it was dimly lit and the evening sunset was coming through the open window. I smiled when I realized that Everly opened it, knowing I liked the scent of fresh air while I slept.
