Vivian watched with bated breaths as Marcus stepped outside of her hospital room. When he closed the door behind him, she released a sigh of relief.
“What was that Vivian?” She berated herself, her cheeks still flushed. The immense and suffocating presence of Marcus had made her act like an i***t. “Do I like him that much?” She wondered. She sighed and shook her head. She would not be able to get those answers now, not today at least.
Vivian took a glance at the door and smiled. She expected the door to burst open any moment from now. She knew Marcus was going to tell her parents and her doctor that she was awake. When she waited for a couple of minutes and the door still wasn’t open, Vivian allowed herself to relax a little and survey her room.
