The welcome back party had been going on for a while now and Vivian was beginning to get a slight headache.
Jacky was currently talking to her, her lips moving fast as she asked about Vivian’s well-being, just like she did with all the previous questions about her health. Vivian assured her that she was fine.
“Hey Vivian,” Carly’s airy voice called out, “I need to meet with you in the office, it’s important.”
Vivian breathed out a sigh of relief, her eyes brightening up as she quickly excused herself and practically rushed to her office.
“Hey Carly,” Vivian said as she reached Carly, who was standing by her door. “What is it?” She asked with rough uneven breaths.
“Get in.” Carly hissed, she stretched out her hands and practically dragged Vivian into her own office.
