We sat there laughing like maniacs as the molly settled into our systems. I felt lighter than the air around me as euphoria pulsed through my veins. I ran my hand over the man's arm as the overwhelming need to touch things took over. The feeling of his soft skin was like h****n as tingles of euphoria danced around in my brain. God I f*****g love drugs. I leaned over to him a s**t-eating grin growing on my features. "Let's get out of here," I said trying to suppress a giggle.
He looked up at me as I pulled away and I knew he was feeling the effects of the molly too. Everything felt overwhelmingly good as the music entered my bones causing shock waves through my system. All he did was nod while grinning like a child. Laughing, I grabbed his hand, threw a few hundred dollar bills onto the bar, and pulled him to the parking lot where my car was.
"I thought I was supposed to pay?" He whined at me.
I let out an airy laugh at his antics. God, I havent laughed like this in seemingly forever. Pressing the button on the fob, it purred to life in the spot it was waiting for me in. Suddenly his hand left mine as he stilled beside me. I turned around to look at him with a quizzical gaze.
"Are you sure you are okay to drive?" He seemed to sober up in his seriousness.
I sighed still feeling entirely too euphoric for anything serious the be happening. "Look, I am going home you can either come or not. It's up to you." I was trying to sound serious but everything came out in a short burst of giggles. He seemed to mull it over in his head before he nodded and went around the side of my car to sit in the passenger seat.
He sent me a s**t-eating grin after taking in my car. "I didn't take you for a car girl." I laughed entirely too hard at such a simple statement but couldnt care less because of how high I was.
"I just thought it looked cool," I giggled out a retort.
He looked up at my face in almost admiration. "You know, I never got your name."
I threw the car in reverse smiling like a maniac. "We dont have to do that you know."
"Do what?" He looked at me expectantly as something new flashed in his features.
After pulling out of the spot, I threw the car in drive before pressing the clutch and pushing the transmission into first gear. "You know. The whole I give you my name, you give me yours. We might even exchange numbers and pretend that we will call each other. You know, pretend like this isnt just sex." We made our way out of the parking lot and into the busy streets of L.A.
"You're an asshole arent you," He said while laughing.
I just shrugged as we made our way through L.A. and back to my apartment. I was surprised that I never got pulled over in the entire drive. Especially since I kept finding myself driving entirely too fast loving the purr of the car from under me and I was higher than a kite. I felt like I could take off in flight like the birds and never again would I touch the ground. I pulled into the car park before finding a spot and cutting the engine. The purring stopped causing a sense of disappointment to course through me at the lack of vibration in my body. We got out meeting each other with s**t-eating grins at the back of my car. Feeling like I was coming down, I pulled two more little pale blue pills out of my bag. I popped one in my mouth as my eyes closed and my head fell back moaning as it hit my tongue. When I looked back at him his eyes were wide. "Holy s**t. How much molly do you have?"
"Enough," I said shrugging my shoulders as my grin threatened to c***k my face in half. I held the other pill between my fingers before stepping closer to him and pressing my body into his. I wrapped my arms around the back of his neck pulling my face up to his. He leaned into me but before his lips met mine, I pulled the arm back that still gripped the little blue pill to linger in front of my face. Our eyes met as the mischief traveled from me into him as he began to understand what I wanted to do. Slowly, never breaking his gaze, I stuck my tongue out to place the tablet on the tip before tucking it safely back behind my teeth. My fingers threaded in the hair at the base of his skull and pulled him into me. Our lips met with a gentle hunger as I felt his arms find their way to the small of my back before a hand squeezed my butt. His tongue flicked out across my bottom lip asking for entrance before I opened just enough to sneak the tablet from my tongue to his. He swallowed and smiled before threading his fingers tightly in the hair on the back of my head and pushing his lips to mine with an insatiable hunger. I pushed away from him grabbing his hand before leading him towards the large glass windows of the front foyer. I reached into my bag with my free hand grasping onto the cool metal at the bottom of it before pulling it out swinging it childishly in front of him while a sly smirk broke over my features. "You want some?"
He laughed taking the flask from my hand before opening it to take a large swig from it. His face soured as he handed it back to me. "You're f*****g bad you know that?" He haphazardly swung his arm over my shoulder as we stumbled up the stairs together laughing deep belly laughs. I stopped momentarily to take a large gulp of the spiced whiskey inside the flask. It was smoother than the Vodka from last night. We made our way into the doors and over to the elevators. Surprisingly I only stumbled one time. The world felt like it was going to come up and swallow me as we made our way to the door of my apartment before I unlocked it giggling like maniacs the whole time. I smiled grabbing his hand and leading him into the apartment only to be met with every light on. My eyes scanned the space and found Lena and William sitting in the living room seeming to be waiting for me. What f*****g time was it? In my drunken euphoric-filled stupor, I fumbled in my back pocket where I found the familiar shape of my phone. I pulled it up to my face swaying a little as I did. 1:00 am. I looked over at them in confusion wondering why Lena was there. I'm normally home at this time. The serious look on Williams's face and the rage that settled into Lena at the sight of me sent shivers of ecstasy tickling as it made its way across the skin. I tried suppressing a giggle at the sight of them.
"Hi Lena," I tried to say it seriously but I couldnt control the spasm of giggles. The guy started to giggle ferociously behind me at my lack of control. Lena's anger shifted into something dangerous as she made her way up from the couch and over to where we stood on the threshold of the door. I led us further into the apartment and softly shut the door behind me. She stalked up to us finally resting with her arms over her chest and a ferocious scowl planted firmly on her lips. Her curly red hair hung around her like fire and her blue eyes iced over. Lena towered over me at least thats what it felt like at that moment but in reality, she was only two inches taller than me. Her eyes snapped to the flask in my hand before they snapped back to mine in bewilderment.
Anger seethed from my sister and I felt the man behind me shrink a little. I couldnt help the manic grin that pushed my cheeks back. "What the f**k is that Missy?"
I attempted to suppress the giggle in my throat. "Would you believe me if I told you it was juice?"
I didnt think she could seeth any harder but I watched her eyes dilate a little as she almost growled. "Are you high?" Her tone was low and dangerous. It felt like the single bullet in the chamber of the revolver before spinning the barrel. Despite this, I couldnt resist the overwhelming sense of joy sending shock waves through my body.
I smiled wider while suppressing a laughing fit. "Yes."
"What did you take Missy?" I felt the g*n click empty against my temple before deciding trying to stay silent was my best option. I watched William silently excuse himself and make his way to the back of the apartment. Lena then turned her attention to my company. "What. The. f**k. Did. She. Take," she said through gritted teeth and I was sure she was going to start spitting acid with how sharp her tongue was. The g*n clicked once again empty.
I felt him gulp behind me before his hands came up in a futile attempt to back Lena off a bit. "Look man it was her molly I was just going along with it." His voice trembled a bit and I rolled my eyes at how big of a p***y he was being.
"You should leave," Lena and I said at the same time. He paused for a second before deciding it would be best to go. Swiftly, he opened the front door and made his way out and into the hallway before closing the door behind him. "What the f**k is wrong with you. Do you want to die? Is that what this is? A means to an end?" She was vibrating with anger.
"Lena, chill the f**k out it's just Molly and beer." The g*n clicked one last time sending a bullet of sobriety through my head. I had finally sobered up enough to retort back to her without losing my mind.
"No Missy!" She was screaming at the top of her lungs at this point. "It is not just f*****g Molly. You always do this s**t. First, it's alcohol, then simple party drugs, then men and cocaine. Youre a f*****g junkie Missy cant you see that?!"
I stood up a little straighter my anger stoking a flame in the pit of my stomach. "Why the f**k are you here Lena? You arent my f*****g mom and I am an adult. I can do with my life as I please so do me a f*****g favor, stop trying to put a leash on me." I was yelling in her face challenging her to take this further.
Her demeanor got colder as she shifted her body towards me. "Your therapist called. She's refusing to see you anymore until you decide to engage in therapy."
My eyes went wide with surprise. "Why the f**k did she call you?"
"She's worried about you. I am worried about you." Lena's voice came out softer than before but with the same hard biting edge of her hatred.
I laughed a full belly laugh right in her face. The laugh was so hard and powerful it bent me over at the waist as it spasmed through me. I didn't laugh because of the drugs. I felt almost entirely sober at that point. It was her feigned concern that contorted through me in a confusing landslide of humor and anger. When I finally recovered from it I looked her dead in the eyes. "Get the f**k out Lena." With that, I moved past her and to my room next to Williams at the back of the apartment. I heard the front door open and slam shut as I reached my room before throwing myself face down onto my bed. I tugged my furry white pillow up and under my face so I could stroke its soft texture while the molly still lingered in my system. So much for a good night. Out of the corner on my eye, I seen a tall silhouette lean against my doorway before hesitantly making their way into the room. I felt the edge on the bed dip down as they took a seat at my feet.
"Well, that was awful." His voice was soft almost as if he was afraid to break the silence.
I groaned in frustration. "Look William, I'm high as s**t and right now all I want to do is stroke this soft pillow."
He let out a light laugh before shifting off of the bed. I felt him slowly peeling my shoes off of my feet. "You're so f*****g weird Missy."
I looked up at him from my spot on the bed and that's when I noticed he was shirtless his hard body on full display as he worked at the laces on my Vans. He had on Calvin Klein boxers that peaked out of the top band of his grey joggers. I groaned at the heat that began to form at the pit of my stomach. Molly is not a good d**g to take if he was going to strut around like this. I gave him a quizzical glance trying to act like I wasn't 100% turned on at this moment. "What are you doing?"
He looked up at me through his lashes and smiled. "Shut the f**k up Missy and let me help you." To both of our surprise, I did just that as he worked each shoe off of my feet with care. He then proceeded to take my socks off delicately before discarding them in the piles of clothing on my floor. His touch sent electric shockwaves through my body and I closed my eyes biting my lip slightly trying to suppress a pleasured giggle. His eyes met mine and in a serious tone he says, "Get undressed."
My eyes went wide and I froze. Before I could protest, he turned around searching my drawers for something that I could wear to bed. I stripped off my jeans after I realized it wasn't a s****l innuendo and laid there in matching thong and bralette. When his gaze found my body, I watched him stop breathing as he stilled where he was. Just as soon as his sudden paralysis came on, it was gone and he walked over to me handing me the silk emerald green pajamas. "Here," he let out with a gruff. I took the pajamas before rising to put them on only to find that we were standing chest to chest so close that his bare chest grazed where my skin made contact with his every time one of us took a breath.
"I am on entirely way to much Molly," I said hoping he'd get the hint. He took a step back so I could bend over to pull the silk shorts up my legs to nestle on my hips. "Turn around." He did as I said and I peeled the bralette up and over me head discarding it amongst the mounds of clothing before buttoning the silk button up over my bare chest and stomach. I cleared my throat and he turned around meeting my eyes. We stood there silently for what felt like ages studying each other almost as if we were having a silent conversation. I broke eye contact and gathered up my long curly red hair on top of my head to tie it in a loose messy bun. When I met his eyes again, his gaze had shifted into something softer and I could feel the anxiety creep under my skin. "Do I have something on my face?" He nodded his head no still not breaking his eye sight from my face. My heart hammered in my chest at the intensity of the moment. "I'm too f*****g high for this," I let out in a breathy whisper.
He seemed to recover from his trance as his eyes snapped into focus and his hand reached up to rub the back of his neck. I groaned at the sight of each individual muscle flexing under his seemingly soft golden skin.
He sent me a quizzical gaze. "Are you okay?" That one sentence had so much weight and could mean so many different things. Was he talking about my fight with Lena? Or was he talking about how astronomically high I was right now. I came back down to earth when he spoke again effectively pulling me out of my head. "I don't have to worry about you dying in your sleep do I?"
I gave him a half smile almost disappointed in his reaction. Why was I disappointed? This is what I wanted right? To be alone. "I'm not going to die."
He gave me a half hearted smile in return. "Good night Missy." He turned on his heels making his way out of my room.
"Good night William" I whispered back. I felt rooted to the spot with emotions. I couldn't tell if my emotions were from the confrontation with my sister or from the Molly. Deciding to blame the Molly for the hole William seemingly left in me for the moment, I moved to pull my covers back and crawled into bed. I laid there staring up at the ceiling for what felt like forever before beginning to drift to sleep. Suddenly, my phone pinged beside me signaling I had a text.
Unknown: don't die please. I don't want to learn how to dispose of a body. Plus, your sister is terrifying.
Confusion crowded my features as I texted the number back.
Missy: Who is this?
Unknown: its William dork. Alexis gave me your number.
I seethed a little letting the anger soak in before putting my phone face down on my night stand and flipping onto my belly. After a few minutes, I beg and to drift off somewhere a lot more pleasant than my current state.
