They've come for you," he whispered, his voice cracking with extra rage. The enemy. The Silver Fang pack. "Want to run?" I asked. I knew I had to get out. "Then let's go," he said. The door guards were cut down in a rush. Axel moved with steely precision, pushing me through the corridors. Every shadow was a threat, every corner a danger. "Where are we headed?" I demanded. "Somewhere safe," he said. We barreled into a corridor, and I could feel the floor shaking. The fight was intensifying. And then there stood a man, blocking our path. The leader of the Silver Fang, his eyes alight with cold contempt. "Axel," he spat, venom dripping from his words. "We've been hunting for you," he spat. "What do you want?" Axel answered. "Her," he indicated me. "We know you're hiding something. We know your dirty little secrets." It was a chilling surprise for this accusations. Zoe had no idea of what was going on. Was Axel hiding something from her. What was the problem or was she the problem? This were all that was running in the head of the speechless Zoe. But there was no time for what happened next was gruesome.
