It was a relief finally getting myself together. Was it worth it? Yes and this time I was going all out. New identity, new life and most of all, a new beginning. I looked at the renewed face of Axel as he lay down. His new features, outlined. I was ready to take on this fight. Together with him. No matter what was to come I was willing to go just to clear my name. Axel woke up and clutched on to me.
You look good, he said glaring into my eyes as if it was the fight time he had seen them. We held our hands as we took out and left for the car. It was a clear bright bright morning and the dew had its presence in the rose gardens that were layered along the car path. We were going on a mission to not only redeem our names but to also make a mark. Our territories were marked and if blood was the only indicator to ward off all predators then it was going to be shed. It had the long effect of being the best at showing everyone how gruesome situations were. We had the last laugh but not this time because before we knew it, we were surrounded by a pack of ferocious looking lycans who were ready to suck the life out of everything that came in their way. Was this another trap set for us to fall prey to? I asked myself. If it was, we were ready to take them down. This time not as a captive and an Alpha. But as one force bounded by love. I looked at Axel’s face of the one who was willing to risk it all for me right from the start and gave a wide grin. It was all to me now. He was,and is my alpha protection after all this time.
