Ramona’s POV. The gala ended on a high note. Elena had handled Biana with the grace worthy of a queen, turning a petty attempt at public humiliation into another victory for the hospital and for our people. Everyone couldn’t stop talking about how safe they felt receiving medical care knowing they could rely on Doctor Elena. I smiled to myself like a proud mother should as we headed out of the venue, a light snowfall beginning to dust the courtyard, blanketing the pavement in white.
