Elena’s POV. The silence that settled over the dining room was heavy, suffocating, and almost blinding. Ramona sat across from me, quietly finishing her dinner with a content smile as if she hadn’t just upended my entire world. Leo is not Raymond’s child. The marriage is purely business. They have never shared a bed. My mind was at war with itself. Half of me was desperately trying to process Ramona’s revelation, watching five years of resentment crumble into dust in a matter of seconds. The other half was weighed down by everything I had witnessed and believed. But what about this morning? What about catching Raymond and Biana coming out of that room together? Before I could find my voice to ask Ramona anything more, the front entrance doors swung open with a harsh, echoing slam.
