The Shadow and The Death

I woked up as i saw him in my dream he died it was after school he went into a bar and then went home while opening the door of his condo the shadows possess him and the blood scattered around the floor

Tatayo na sana ako but i saw him sleeping next to me "this is all my fault" I brushed my hair using my fingers out of frustration i felt

"Oh-- you're awake? How are you? Are you alright?" I noded at tumingin sa buong paligid. Aeros just walked out at mukhang may kukuhankn

Ven a mí........

A word means 'come to me' pops up in my head i felt my eyes was burning and then i saw the shadow

Sinundan ko ang shadow na ngayon ay naka masid kay aeros

"lo dejé solo" i whispered the shadow turn his gazed in me

"morir" I looked out for my handkerchief in my pocket but there is none nag simula akong mag hukay sa bag ko i need it

I can't rid of that shadow but i can protect him from being possess there is a ritual in that handkerchief it was made by my grandma before i turned 18

PAST

"This handkerchief will help you it will protect you from any harm your body can be possess by the shadow and make you cause the death of someone who's into you or to that someone who will be possess he will be save from it but remember shadows will cause anything to kill someone because the shadow is your curse" my grandma handed me a handkerchief and my name was written on it

"Ishi are you alright?" Suspense is getting nearer and nearer as aeros starts to walked towards me while holding a bottled water

I looked at the shadow who's now moving and starts following him "NO!" tumayo ako at hinila si aeros

I pulled aeros and cause him to lay down in the bed while im on top of him . He looked at me cluelessly

"morir" a voice of the shadow echoes in my ears my head aches and my heart skipped a beat

"Leave me alone aeros!" Tumayo ako at hinila siya. I pushed him towards the door "LEAVE!" The surroundings change into entire black .

I saw my self in a room helpless as i watch my self possess by the black shadow a pang of pain inside me beguns to arise i clinched my fist my knees are getting weaker and weaker

I kneeled down and put my hand in my chest "Ah!" I bit my lower lip my nose bleeded "I-i...... N-need to be s-strong or else that....demon will entirely possess my body..... H-he's in da----" My sentence got cut out as a handful of blood from my mouth came out

And that's how i lose my consciousness

Aeros didn't know what to do he is sitting beside the door of the clinic where ishi is inside

"Aeros why are you?"Someone from aeros same department asked him but aeros is still looking at the door

The time they both fell in the bed he saw his eyes turns red but there's something in her.......

"Aeros? Are you okay?"aeros looked at that guy and stand up

"Im alright" He answer shortly

"But what are you doing there?" Pagtatakang tanong naman ulit nito

"You won't understand kaya umalis kana" umalis naman ito kaya nag lakas loob siyang pumasok

Blood is every where he saw with his two eyes the body of ishi that is lying in the cold floor unconscious

He tooked the handkerchief from her pocket to wipe the blood in ishi's face

"Ishi?" He pat her shoulder but she didn't move...

He slowly bend down and to hear if her heart is still beating

And he was right it's beating......

He put her into the bed and looked out for the time in his watch

It's almost past 6 pm..........

"Where is my phone?" Aeros suddenly questioned his self his cellphone is ringing but he can't see it

"There you go......... Hello?.......Oh sorry im on my important business Right now........I dont want....... I'll pass" Pinatay niya na ang tawag

"I can't let you be here alone" He grab his car key and carry ishi

"She's not heavy?" Napa pangiti niyang tugon sa sarili. He looked out on every isle of the school but there's no student at all

But he saw belle near the parking lot with her friends "Hey!" Pag tatawag niya bigla namang nakuha ni aeros ang atensiyon nila

"Omg! Why are you with that witch?" Gulat na ani ni belle.

"Open my car now"Belle eyes widened

"Kung ayaw ko?" Aeros suddenly turn his gazed in belle na naka tuon lang kanina kay ishi

"Open it up hanggang mabait pa ako okay?" Belle irritatedly open the car door

He gentle put ishi in his car and close the car door...

"What so special about that girl ae?" Aeros looks at belle

"It's something you don't have i think?" He enters the car at nag simula ng mag drive papunta sa kanyang condo

The handkerchief is still on his hand "Blood" He chuckled as he saw the handkerchief is full of blood

He took his phone and make a call "Hello yaya?......" He said

("Sir bakit po?")

"Can you clean my room and change everything in my bed?"

("Bakit sir?")

"I'm with someone right now" he looked at the front view mirror where he can see ishi

("Someone sir? Chicks bayan sir?") Napa tawa na lang si aeros

"A sort of like that yaya....Good bye" he hang up the call at nag simula na ulit mag drive nang mabalis pag punta nilang condo the door is now open the maids are outside and waiting

The gate is opened by one of his guard he parked his car at binuksan ang pintuan ng kanyang kotse where ishi is

He carried it and looked at his maid "maayos na po ba?" The maid noded to him but still looking at the girl

"She's not from the club yaya!" The maid teasingly looked at him

"So hindi ka nag club ngayon? Kasama mo lang ba yang babaeng yan buon araw?" The maid asked

"Yes, why not?" He entered his room and put ishi on his bed he then remove ishi's shoes and socks at tsaka kinumutan ito

"Goodnight" He said but he was hesitate to leaved her. He kiss her forehead and leaved the room quietly.........

Ishi wokes up in a unfamiliar room the light is just dim the room is quiet big

The Room is filled of manly scent the scent is familiar..... She knew it could be him

She decided to leaved the room but as she walked through the long hallway she heard a piano playing. She then start walking and searching for the room until she stop walking and that is the end of the hallway

Dahan dahan niyang binuksan ang pintuan and she finally able to find who's playing it

"You know how to play piano?" Aeros stop playing piano and then look at her sweetly

"Of course, I knew everything, im almost perfect by the way" ishi enters the room and curiously frowned at aeros

"Almost?" Ishi questioned

"Yes almost, There's something is missing in me" Ishi shut her mouth and thinked what's going on in his mind

The time i looked at his eyes i saw death but now why can't i see anything besides of the sadness he feels?

A swing of emotion suddenly changed in a blink of an eye.

"Are you hungry? Dinner is ready" He stand up, I looked at his hand he suddenly hold my hand and smiled at me

"Anong ginagawa mo?" Mataray kung ani dito

"Bakit? May masama ba sa ginagawa ko?" I noded

"Holding your hand isn't a crime ishi" Napa irap na lang ako

"It's not a crime to be exact but im telling you if you don't stop this mamatay ka talaga" Babala ko dito

"Be it, Buhay pa nga ako ngayon eh" sinipa ko ang paa niya

"Stop being radical kung gusto mo pang mabuhay i already told you stop it kung ano man yang iniisip mo it will kill you alam mo ba yun?" He look at me innocently straight in my eyes

"I know? But it already happen things may seems alright but its already not ishi........ I'm interested in you ayun lang yun ishi don't worry" He left me behind

Mukha bang may sinabi akong may gusto siya sa akin? Sira ulo din toh ah

Padabog akong lumabas ng silid at bumaba. Pumunta ako sa unang palapag at hinanap ang kusina nakita ko siya na nasa hapag kainan kaya nag lakas loob akong umalis

"When did you think you can leave like that?" Napa hinto ako sa pag lalakad i heard the utensils mukhang ibinaba niya ito

I can't look straight to him hindi nga ako maka ibo eh lumingon pa kaya sa kanya?

"Kumain ka muna" Pagyayaya nito Akala ko ay hihilahin niya na naman ako pero hindi pala tumalikod ulit ito at nag simula ulit kumain

The atmosphere felt so cold......

Something change at him parang kisap mata lang at nawala na siya ng parang bola

"People change if they realize how worthless you are" I smiled bitterly at tinitigan siyang kumain my mission is to change his fate hindi ko man nagawa ito sa iba but maybe i can do it for him

Now that i realized how this cursed work i know and i hope i can change anything i dont have any need on him kaya hindi dapat ako mag damdam

He stand up hindi dahil lalapit siya sa akin but he to put his plate in the sink

I grab the opportunity to leaved the condo at nag simula ng mag lakad pauwi

Its past midnight kaya wala nang buma byahe na nag papasada kaya ko naman sarili ko eh

I'm not the death..........

I looked up at the skies..... Full of stars even if the darkness is powerful than the stars. The stars manage to bright because they're many ..........

I wish i could be like the stars but I don't have a family.......

My grandma is only here for me not for my sake but for the sake of what my dad asked on her

As i tend to be strong mas lalo lang ako nagiging mahina

How i wish dad is here for me......

"Ishi? Ishi!" I heard grandma's voice yelling my name

Natawa ako even if she's so old her voice is still big

"Grandma?" I said as i open the door and find her

Nagulat ako as grandma hugged me so tight "G-grandma what are you doing?!!" I shouted

Bigla akong umalis sa pag kakayakap sa kanya and that i didn't realized.........

"L-lola?" I can't recognized her. Her skin in the face is peeled off she's covered in blood, Her mouth is wide opened, Her eyes is crying in blood, Her arms is break her bones is exposed

"L-lola!!!" I tried everything i can but it happened i can't fix this mess anymore

My hand is trembling..... My knees are shaking. I called for help but i can't hold my phone properly as my hand is trembling anxiously

My tears are falling down to my cheek. I cant see clearly as my vision is getting blurry because of crying

The police came at the right time and they already investigate the scene

Neighbors are all around the crime scene gossiping on how scary my grandma's death are

In the exact time the news is cover in every newspaper, social media article, and everything

But im still sitting in the ground crying no one dares to touch me or dares to talked to me

I hugged my knees and rest my head in it

Im tired

"Stop crying like that you look like a kid crying on a carnaval because her mom left her" A familiar voice wakes me up

Inangat ko ang tingin ko dito at napa kurap

"Bakit ka nandito? Gusto mo bang mangyari sa iyo ang nangyari sa lola ko?" He bended to squat hanggang sa nagka pantay na kami

"Tsaka na siguro pag nakuha ko na gusto ko?" Pinunasan ko ang luha ko

"Hindi ako ang mag de-decide kung kailan ka mamamatay" He chuckled

"Tayo ka na diyan maybe dun ka na lang muna sa akin mabait naman ako eh" tiningnan ko siya

"Don't be good to me...... Ginagawa ko lang to kasi i need to fulfill something after that we will cross path like we didn't knew each other we're different" i said without any emotions

"Why are you scared?" Tatalikod na sana ako but he suddenly speak

"Scared? Maybe? Im scared I'll be the reason nang kapahamakan dahil lang sa nangyari sa garden.....Layuan mo na ako as long as i cant predict anything from you....."

"Predict? From me?" Hinarap ko ito

"Everytime i touches someone i accidentally see how they died and i saw yours the moment you held my hand but after the accident happen in the clinic wala na kong makita sa yo you even escaped a day without dying kaya lumayo kana....Pakiusap lang.........."

"Don't worry I won't do anything just be with me" Napahinto ako matigas talaga ang ulo niya

"Why? Ano bang nakita mo sa akin hindi mo pa nga ako nakikilala ng lubusan eh? Why are you being like this?" Naguguluhan kong saad sa kanya

"You knew what it is....... If you really want to help me then be with me kahit hanggang dun lang i wont do anything to you i promise....... Tara na?" Napa buntong hininga ako

Hindi ko talaga siya maintindihan naka droga siguro to?

"Hop in" He said at pinag buksan ako ng pintuan ng kotse niya pumasok na lang ako

Tahimik lang kami sa byahe at mabilis lang naman kaming nakarating dahil malapit lang ang bahay niya sa bahay ni lola

"The guest room is cleaned by the maids so dun ka na lang muna ipapakuha ko ang mga gamit mo sa bahay ng lola mo bukas ng umaga" Tumango tango na lang ako at pumunta na ng kwarto kailangan ko na sigurong matulog

Gumising ako ng maaga para makapag luto ng makakain dahan dahan akong nag lakad pababa at nakita ko na wala pang tao sa kusina nag simula akong magluto ng umagahan

Habang nag luluto bigla kong na alala si lola na pinag lulutuan ako ng umagahan kahit na meron siya inaayos na mga bagay bagay niya

Tinakpan ko ang pagkain at umakyat sa pangalawang palapag at hinanap ang kwarto ni aeros

Kakatok na sana ako pero nakita ko na naka awang ng unti ag pintuan kaya dahan dahan ko itong binuksan

"Ae---" napahinto ako sapagkat na kita ko siyang nag papalit ng damit bigla kong naibagsak ang pintuan at dali daling pumasok ng kwarto pumunta ako sa banyo para maka ligo hindi niya naman siguro ako napansin noh?

Pag katapos kong maligo ay dali dali kung nilabhan ang uniporme ko at drinayer ito pagkatapos ay na madali akong lumabas ng kwarto para kumuha ng pagkain sa kusina

"Did you see it?" Naka ngising tugon ni aeros ng eksaktong makalingon ako sa kanya na naka sandal na pala sa pintuan

"Ang a-alin? Hindi ah? As if namang----" He giggled and frowned at me

"Im talking to the hotdog i cook it mukha kasing kunti niluto mo eh? Why so defensive bakit meron ka pa bang ibang nakita?" He slowly walked palapit sa akin para bang may model sa harapan ko eww!

"Bakit ano bang ibig mong sabihin? Anong defensive? Meron ba akong ginawang iba? Sira ulo siguro to" Pilit naman ako tumawa at tsaka tinalikuran siya para umupo tutal nan dito naman siya eh

"Nauutal ka pa nga habang nag sasalita eh......." Pinandilatan ko siya ng mata

"Isa!" Binato ko siya ng nakita kong kutsarita

"Ouch! You're so over react alam mo yun para talagang may iba ka pang nakita maliban sa hot--- ouch! Dang it!" Napa tawa naman ako ng sumapol ang kutsara sa kanyang ulo

Tawa lang ako ng tawa at kumuha na naman ng hotdog at kumain pag angat ko ng ulo ay nakita ko ang mukha niya na malapit sa akin nagawa niya ilapit ang mukha niyansa pagitan ng isang lamesa

"If dying is meant when i kiss you papaduguin ko pa yang labi mo.... Im not scared" inurong ko ang upuan ko para makaiwas pero bigla itong hinila ni aeros gamit ang isang kamay

"Im not yet finish ish" Pinanliitan ko ito ng mata

"Ishi.. I-SHI( Ay-She) tamad talaga to mag salita" My eyes widened when he hold the back of my head and pull it closer to him

"Stop touching me or you'll die?" Pagbabanta ko dito at he form a smirk in his lips and pinch my nose

"After you eat aalis na tayo" I arched my eyebrows

"Eh ikaw? Hindi ka kakain?" Tanong ko dito

"Im not hungry and besides pwede pala?" Napa kurap ng ilang bese ano?

Anong pwede?

"Anong pwede pala? Hindi kita mahukay alam mo yun?" He chuckled

"Hindi na lang ako kakain eh" at tsaka tumalikod na ito

"Wait ano pala ibig mong sabihin bawal hinding kumain noh baka ka mahilo niyan" He pouted his lips

Ang cute!

*Erase....Erase....Erase

"Im asking you pwede ka palang kainin?" Ano ako kainin?

"B-bakit m-mo naman ako kakainin ha? E-eh cannibal ka na pala ngayon? Kaya ba nawala ang mga katulong mo kasi kinain" Napatampal ito sa noo at tinitigan ako

"You're scary woman but i didn't know na may katangahan ka pala?" I pony tailed my hair out of frustration

"Ano palang masama sa sinabi ko? Na offend ka ba dahil napagkamalan kitang ganun katakaw? Or di kaya naman may mali ba sa sinabi ko? Cannibal lang naman nakain ng tao eh" he bended at nag pantay ang tangkad namin

"You won't understand either kaya hindi ko na lang sasabihin kung ano yun baka sakaling ikaw na maka figure out..... Tara na" Sinundan ko na lang siya at pumasok na ng kotse

"I'll fitch you wait me in the parking lot o di kaya puntahan mo na lang ako sa court okay? May varsity practice kasi eh" napa nguso ako

"Okay sabi mo eh.... Bye" lumabas na ako ng kotse at nagsimulang mag lakad papuntang classroom inside the campus hindi ako takot maka sagi ng tao

Sila na mismo ang naiwas when I'm with them kaya sanay na ako

"Ms Valespin?" Naka salubong ko ang homeroom teacher namin habang papunta sa classroom kaya naman yumuko ako ng kunti

"Good morning po.... Ma'am" Magalang na bati ko dito

"Good morning.... I heard your grandma died?" Biglang nag pintig ang tenga ko sa narinig

"P-paano niyo po nalaman? Narinig niyo po ba sa balita?" Tumango naman ito

"Dating guro ang lola mo dito nung nag sisimula pa ang eskwelahan pagawain...... Isang mahusay na guro ang iyong lola at kilala siya sa larangan na ito tumigil siya 18 years na ang nakakalipas" taon kung kailan pina nganak ako?

"She asked me to watch over you before she left.....malaki ang utang na loob ko sa iyong lola so babantayan kita" Biglang umagos ang luha ko

Iyakin talaga bwiset........

"Thank you po pero hindi niyo na po kailangan yun..... Kaya ko na ang sarili at tsaka po ipapahamak ko lang po kayo" mariin kong tinanggihan ang alok ni Mrs Ibañez

Hinawakan niya ang mag kabilang balikat ko.....

Sa sobrang gulat ko ay bigla kong hinawi ang mga kamay niya mula sa balikat ko at napa atras

The shadow appears next to her and "Okay ka lang ba hija?" Bakas ang pag aalala nito sa kanyang mga mata

Guilt....... The only thing i knew. And i felt it right now

"Sorry po!" Tumakbo ako palabas ng campus pero may naka bangga akong isang may katangkarang lalaki

"S-sorry!" Sa sobrang lakas ng pag bangga namin sa isat isa ay napa upo ako sa sahig pero nagawa ko paring humingi ng tawad sa kanya

Images of him pops up and the shadow is still there

After i saw it bigla akong tumakbo paalis hanggang kaya ko pumunt ako sa bodega ng eskwelahan at napa luha

I'm bringing doom to everyone...... "Argh!" Sinabunutan ko ang sarili ko at pinaghahampas ang ulo

"This is all my fault......" I tooked a stone at pinaghahampas ito sa ulo ko I didn't even fell pain at all

Nanggigigil ako sa nangyayari sa akin ngayon. I need to looked for that man who cursed me..........

Napa sandal ako sa pader at doon ko lang naramdaman ang paghapdi ng aking ulo. I touch it and i saw blood covering my hand

"Ridiculous" I bitterly said......

"Break siguro muna tayo pagod na ako eh" pag rereklamo ng kasamahan ko

"Cap? Pwede ba?" I frowned at vergara i remember ishi about those words 'pwede ba'

"Okay fine, Meron lang akong pupuntahan saglit pag dating ko we will start again" I go straight to her classroom

"Hello? Is ishi here?" Mei suddenly looked at my direction

"Ishi? Absent siya eh wala siya ngayon hindi pumasok" f**k! Bigla akong umalis at patakbong nilibot ang buong campus i go outside the campus at pinuntahan ang bodega

I saw ishi sleeping while sitting on the ground

Her head is full of dried blood dadali dali akong tumakbo palapit but suddenly a force makes me kneel on the ground my heart aches I put my hand on my chest

"F-uck!" My nose bleed s**t!

I search for the handkerchief I took from ishi and use to wipe the blood from my nose and suddenly the pain is gone it made me confuse

I just wipe my nose... But suddenly its all gone? I slowly stand up and walk towards ishi and i saw her moving i took her handkerchief and use it to cover her wounds on her head

"f**k!" I leaned my hand on the wall and start feeling a bunch of pain in my chest. I don't even have a heart problem.

"Ah! Damn it!" My body start to get weak this is the first time my body trembles so hard

Dahan dahan akong umupo sa tabi ni ishi

"Ah! Damn it!" Bigla akong nagising sa pamilyar na boses na narinig ko naramdaman ko ang pag tabi niya kaya nagising naman nagmulat ako ng mata

Pag lingon ko sa kaliwa na kita ko si aeros na namimilipit sa sakit

"Aeros?"

Ven a mí........

I did not hesitate to called out the shadow. The black shadow appears in front of me

"para esto" (stop this) i begged at him

"No puedes enviarme nada, soy la muerte en ti" ( You cant command anything on me. Im the death in you).

"no le hagas daño, solo hazme daño" (Dont hurt him, just hurt me)

I hopelessly gazed at aeros na nawalan na ng malay I can't touch him i wanna comfort him but I can't

"Sorry--" i look at the shadow "stop this wala ka ngayon kung wala ako!" I shouted.

The skies turned dark. The flowers and grasses died a bolt of lightning strikes every second in every places

The wind is so strong that it can blow away anything

"Stop this!! Wala ka ngayon kung wala ako!" I tooked out the dagger i was holding for to long at itinutok sa aking leeg

"Sige gawin mo ang gusto mong gawin once you do these it's the end for the both of us!" Naramdaman ko na ang lamig ng dagger na hawak ko at ang dulo nito ay unti unti ng bumabaon sa leeg ko

"Don't hurt him!! Im not challenging you I am threatening you right now kill him or we will both disappear" The weather became nice like something doesn't happen

The shadow is gone and so the pain in aeros gone too

Bigla ko siyang nilapitan at inalog "A-aeros? Aer---" He pulled my waist and lean closer to me until i felt my lips touches his

Tutulakin ko na sana siya but his strong enough to pinned me in the wall effortless

"f**k!" Bigla siyang bumitaw sa paghalik sa akin and he start cussing

He looks at me straight in my eye and i was frozed from the moment i saw his eyes turns red

He was under a spell "A-aeros? Are you alright? May nararamdaman ka bang kakaiba?" He didn't answer. Tumayo lang ito at nagmadaling umalis

Someone cast a spell on him. They've been watching me ever since. Kaya ba hindi mamatay matay si aeros?

They controlling him but for what reason?

Ishi tailed up on aeros sinusundan niya ito kung ano ang mangyayari but suddenly a woman from the 4th floor fell "Mrs Ibañez?" dali dali utong lumapit sa gurong walang kamalay malay na nag pakamatay

"M-mrs? Even if the curse didn't hit him pero nagana parin ito sa iba?" She felt troublesome as she tries to make her self calm

'I need to find aeros baka kung ano na ang ginagawa nun ngayon' Tumayo ako at nag madaling mag lakad upang hanapin siya but suddenly i stop

Maybe they're controlling me? Bakit sa lahat ng tao na naka contact ko why am i focused on that guy?

Ishi took a step backward "they're manipulating me? And they just even curse me? The hell!" Napa sabunot ito sa kanyang buhok when a loud scream was heard

Ishi run towards the scene and he saw aeros holding a knife na duguan

The guy na nabangga ko kanina?

He was killed by aeros? They've manipulating aeros all this time?

"Aeros!" Ishi shouted his name in the blink of an eye aeros fell down on the floor unconscious

She run towards him and call for help. As the rescue team is on the way hindi naman mapakali si ishi

I need to look for them. I need to find them. Maybe i can able to stop this..........

Inalis ko sa ulo ko ang handkerchief at itinali ito sa kamay ni aeros

"Ahm kuya huwag niyo po alisin yang panyo sa kamay niya kahit anong mangyari? At po pag hahanapin niyo ang guardian niya tinawagan ko na po" ........

Hinintay ko na lamang na maihatid si aeros sa hospital bago umalis.

Pumunta ako sa bahay ni lola at kinuha ang mga gamit ko nag impake ako at nag simula na mag sulat ng isang liham

Titigil muna ako sa pag aaral.....

Ayun ang nasa isip ni ishi sa mga sandaling sinusulat na niya ang mga irarason niya

'Kailangan ko muna ayusin ang sarili ko at matatapos din to' Ishi said in the back of her mind
