JUDY TURNED THE key in the lock. She hadn’t expected to have had such a laugh. Roger had apologised for falling asleep; they had gently woken up the old lady, and had all agreed to meet up again the following Monday.
“Mum. Elliott’s been sick all over the bathroom. It’s all brown and disgusting.” Marlon walked out of the door just as Judy was walking in.
“Oh God, no. Where are you going?”
“Out.”
“Who with?”
“My mates. Be back soon.” Marlon sauntered out of the gate in the direction of the park.
Judy sighed and found her youngest son lying on his bed looking a pale shade of green:
“What’s the matter? What have you eaten?”
“More like how much has he eaten? There were at least 6 big bars of chocolate to start with judging by the wrappers in the kitchen bin.
