CHAPTER 24
“WE SEEM TO be two down tonight.”
Petra looked around the room and could only see six people, two of them sitting unnaturally close together.
“Edie’s not coming anymore. She told me.”
Julian finished shrugging out his shoulders and started stretching his quads. He was really getting into this fitness thing now. Malcolm had been right, as always. Exercise did make you feel better.
“Roger’s not coming back either.” Judy ignored the inquisitive turning of heads, and lay down on her mat. Let them think what they like…
“Ok, well tonight we’re going to ramp it up a bit. Let’s all begin by stretching out and warming up those muscles ready to give them a workout. Neville and Thelma, would you like to move your mats a little further apart perhaps?”
