"There's no time to move your things to the other room, so we'll sleep here together," he told her, and Vienna scoffed quietly. She wanted to say more to him, but then he turned aside and continued to pull off his shoes and clothes. Vienna turned aside quickly, surprised that he wasn't bothered about undressing in front of her, and tiptoed to pick up the clothes she had left on the bed while going into the bathroom. She watched him hang his shirt and settle into bed without taking a bath and wondered if he had a limitation in speech. Whenever he talked with her, he only managed to say the important things without much detail and maintained silence after that. Vienna turned to a hidden corner, removed her towel, and started to dry her body, looking at Alan's side from time to time.
