Vienna felt hungry after getting only filled with drinks earlier but resisted the urge to go find something for herself in the kitchen and remained rooted on the bed.
She tried not to bother herself with how Alan might be faring and closed her eyes, but a notification from her phone alerted her.
Vienna sat up, seeing a text from Vanessa asking if she would be coming over to the hospital the next day together with her and Nisan.

"When I went over the last time, the doctor said they were instructed to move Mom to a VIP room, and her attending doctor was changed too."
