Relieved.

After that awkward moment between us earlier, we are now eating at the dining table. I keep on glancing at almost everything my eyes could lay on. While Ayden keeps on staring at me.

"Oi, staring is rude kaya." I said while lifting a glass of water to drink.

"I can't help it, you're so pretty." He said it so casually I almost choked on my water. I laughed so hard. I know this is rude but I can't help it.

He looked at me weirdly when he heard me laugh.

"Sabi na nagagandahan ka sa'kin kanina, eh." Binitawan ko ang kutsara at tinidor na hawak ko. Nilagay ko ang kaliwang kamay ko sa dibdib ko ate ang kanan naman ay maarte kong hinawak sa noo ko. Ginawa kong madrama ang itsura ko at nag kunwaring may pinupunasang luha. "Pasensiya na lods, ako lang kasi 'to... Maganda, mabait, hindi kapalit-palit." Napa-lipbite na lang ako at nilagay ang likod ng kanang palad ko sa noo ko.

Umasta ako na parang mahihimatay at sumandal sa upuan. Hinayaan kong malaglag ang kaliwang kamay ko sa gilid.

I heard him chuckle while the maids were trying their best not to laugh. Ako talaga kanina ko pa gusto kausapin 'tong mga 'to, kaso ayaw naman akong iwan nitong si Ayden. Laging naka buntot sakin. Aso ka ghorl? Poging aso mo naman.

After a few minutes of eating, someone called him. He excused him self, saying he'll comeback.

Ayos lang kahit mag tagal ka lods, Hehe. When I saw him leave the dining area, I immediately called the maid standing next to me.

"Psst, ate!" I called for her.

She smiled and asked me. "Ano po ang gusto niyo maam?"

"Ano name mo ate?" I asked smiling at her. She looked confused but answered hesitatingly.

"A-Andrea po..." She looked confused.

"Ah! Ako po si Calliope!" I offered her my hand, she hesitated at first but accepted it anyway. "Saan ka po mamaya?"

She still looked confused. "Sa likod po ng bahay maam. Sa maids quarters."

"Pwede patambay ate?" I asked nicely.

"Nako po! Baka po hindi kayo sanay sa gano-" she seemed like she's panicking.

"Sige na ate, kahit saglit lang." I pouted.

She looked hesistant but eventually agreed. We stopped talking when Ayden came back. I was grinning from ear to ear the whole time. Ayden was looking at me suspiciously.

Ka-excite naman 'to! Makakasagap na ako ng bagong chika!

"What happened?" Ayden asked after a moment of what seemed like forever of debating himself.

"Nothing~" I chuckled.

After eating, Ayden walked me to my room and said his goodnight afterwards. I did my usual night routine and went to the back of the house where the maid quarters is.

I read the list of person per rooms beside each door and knocked on the door that has number two in it when I saw Andrea's name.

When the door opened I was greeted by a what seemed like woman in her 50's. She looked shocked to see me. She immediately bowed after gaining her senses back.

"Ma'am! Ano po ang ginagawa niyo dito?" She asked still bowing.

I puckered my lips. "Wag ka na po mag bow. Nandito po ba si Anrdrea?" I asked politely.

She called for Andrea. There were 4 persons in the room. Andrea was sitting in one of the double decks.

When I saw her, I immediately asked them if I could go in. When I got in I immediately went to Andrea who still looked nervous.

"Hi!" I smiled at her while waving both my arms as I indian sit on her bed.

"H-hi po... Ma'am... -" I immediately cut her off.

"Don't call me Ma'am. Ganon na nga sa bahay ganito pa dito." I pouted.

"Ha? E- ano po-" she started to stutter.

"Call me Mare!" I exclaimed.

She looked at me weirdly. "Hey! Don't look at me like that." I pouted. She laughed at me.

"Sige po..."she chuckled. I looked around me when I felt eyes staring at us. I saw the others looking at us.

"Hi po! Ako po si Calliope! I introduced myself." They smiled and offered their hand. After a few minutes of introducing, we all became friends.

"Hala! Sa true po? 67 na kayo?" I asked Nanay, the lady who opened the door earlier for me. I asked her if I could call her Nanay. She agreed on the condition that she gets to call me apo.

"Oo, iha." She laughed.

"Mamita, ikaw po ilan?" I asked the other lady beside Nanay.

"37 dai." She told me while giving me sweet popcorns.

"Buti hindi ka maarte sa pagkain Caly?" Lyndsey asked beside me.

"Hindi, sis. Masarap kumain, food is life." I said while stuffing my cheeks with popcorn.

We all laughed and continued chatting. I didn't notice the time since the clock they had inside the room was broken and I forgot to bring my phone with me. I didn't bother asking them what the time was since I was enjoying myself too much.

Our topic now was about the haunted things that happened to Nanay. Andrea's legs were wrapped on my waist while she was hugging me from behind. I was leaning to her while using her arms that hugged me as a mask for my eyes whenever the scary parts come.

We were in the middle of hearing a story about a guy knocking in the night when someone knocked on the door loudly. Of course we screamed from shock.

Napahawak sa dibdib si Nanay sa gulat sa sigaw namin.

"Jusmeyo kayong mga bata kayo. Aatakihin ako sa inyo." Ani Nanay bago dumeretso sa pinto para tignan kung sino 'yong kumatok. Binuksan niya nv kaunti ang pinto 'yong tipong ulo niya lang makikita mo na naka silip. "Anong maitutulong ko sa inyo kuya Bogart?-"

"Nako, Nay! Nawawala daw, ho 'yong magiging asawa ni Ser Ayden!" Nagpapanic na sigaw ng nasa pinto.

"Ha? Pa'nong nawawala?" Sumenyas si Nanay samin sa likod na wag muna daw ako lumabas.

"May kumatok kanina sa pinto niya yata nay. May pinapabigay yata na stuff toy. Kaso wala daw sumasagot, edi binuksan kasi baka tulog na. Kaso walang tao sa kwarto niya nay. Nagagalit na si ser Ayden. Bakit daw-" I cut his words off by opening the door.

"Nay, una na po ako. Salamat po! Bisita po ako ulit bukas kung pwede." I smiled at them. The guy looked shocked after seeing me.

"Walang anuman." Ngumiti si Nanay sa'kin.

"Sorry po nay. Good night na po." I walked my way back. I heard the guy's fast foot steps following me.

"Pasensya na po, ma'am. Naistor-"

"Ayos lang kuya." Pigil ko sa kaniya.

Pagkabalik namin sa loob, nakasalubong ko si Ayden na nakasuot ng sweater habang may dala na susi. He looked shocked when he saw me.

"Where did you... find her?" Nanghihinang tanong ni Ayden. He sounded relieved after seeing me.

"N-nasa maids quarter, ho... Sir... Nakikipag kwentuhan po yata siya kila Manang Nely." Kinakabahang sagot ng lalaki sa likod ko.

"Is that so?" he softly said. I looked at him weirdly. What is the fudge is wrong with this guy? "C'mon baby... Let's get you to bed."

He lend me his hand. I accepted it cause he looked like he's on the verge of crying. He was pulling me lightly but his grip was strong. It was as if he was afraid to let go.

I'm eyeing him from behind. he looks cute. His black hair down, wearing a pink hoodie and white pajama with matching pink slippers. It was the slippers that we saw at the side walk earlier.

There was this old lady selling cute slippers and I asked him to stop and buy 2 pairs. I was kind of shocked he agreed.

When we reached my room he opened it and motioned me to go inside. He looked like he wanted to come with me. It was as if he was scared of something.

I asked him if he wanted to come inside. He looked hesitant but still went in. I asked him to sit on the sofa near the balcony while I brush my teeth.

He followed what I said. Thou, his face still looked like he wanted to cry. It was like he was afraid of me leaving him.
