The heart attack that these mermaids were sending them whenever they looked at them was immensely horrible. It felt like they were in some sort of a horror movie whenever they turn their heads from left to right and the thing that they would see was the sight of the ugly face of the mermaids with their crazy red eyes and scary sharp black teeth.
"Riley, dip!"
Riley inhaled a lot of air through her mouth and dipped in the water, coming face to face with the green tail of one mermaid which instantly slapped her face. It made her groan, causing the air that she gathered just spurt out in the water. She swam back up, gritting her teeth because indeed, the scales of the mermaid's tail were a real hard slap in the face, even harder than the reality that they were being played at currently.
