Lucas Point of View The late afternoon sun hung low over the countryside as Lucas pulled his truck into the driveway of Maribel’s house. The smell of freshly made burgers filled the cab from the takeaway bags resting on the passenger seat. After a long day of work, all he wanted was to spend a quiet evening with her.
