Lucas Point of View
Lucas pushed open the door of the small jewelry shop, the little bell above it jingling softly. The town only had one jewelry store, but it was well known and trusted by everyone. Behind the glass counter stood John, the owner and jeweler, who greeted them with a warm smile.
"Morning, Lucas. Morning, Joelien. What brings you two here today?" said John with friendly welcome smile.
Lucas glanced at his cousin and smiled nervously. His heart skip beats as she stood there.
"I need an engagement ring." Said Lucas nervous as he looked at John.
John's face lit up immediately. "Well now, that's wonderful news. Let's find the perfect one."
