Chapter 2

I am engulfed in her embrace. I instantly feel loved, as if I'm home. My grandfather, hugs the both of us, we are crying and smiling. I was where I needed to be, at this very moment in time. I step out of, their arms and ask "Why, did you bring me here?" Angelique glances at her husband Gerald, then says to me "Let me get you a change of clothes, and I will make breakfast. You must be starving." I was indeed starving, but she already knew that. Was there anything about me, she didn't know? I wondered feeling exposed. "Then we tell you everything," she promises trying to pacify me. "Okay." I reluctanly agree, my mind giving up on the illogical fact, that I feel hungry, in a dream. "I know it's all confusing, but you are actually here, both your mind and physical body. What is back home sleeping in your bed, is just an empty shell, in your image," Angelique explains, which make scary sense. They both leave the room, leaving me alone to my bizarre thoughts, on time travel. Angelique returns shortly, with a flowery yellow sundress for me to wear. I really needed a shower, there was dry bloody spots still on my body. Blood was underneath my finger nails, and my feet was stained redish, from walking barefooted in it. She really had tried her best to clean me up, but a shower was needed. "The bathroom, is through that door," She points to a white, wooden door in the room, which I hadn't noticed before. "Could you please stop reading my mind," I tell her, annoyed that she keeps on doing. "Then stop making it, so easy for me," She answers in return. "How do..." I begin to say "Put up a wall, just imagine it in your mind. The stronger and higher the wall, the better," she interrups me to explain. I do as she says, but it is hard to create. I didn't have powers, like they do. Angelique holds me, by my upper arms and stares into my eyes, then says sternly. "Yes, you do. You are very power, on your eighteen birthday, your birthright will be bestowed onto you, the rightfull hier of my people, Fairies of The Northern Lights." My mind rejects her words. Oh she is quite a mad woman. A fairy? What sort of family did I came from, even my mother is a little bit cookoo. But I do as she says, to humour her, and a strange feeling of warmt builds up inside of me. I could see the wall, red brick, by brick, it went up higher and higher. It was as if, I was inside and outside my mind, at the same time. "Very good my child, just like that" she says to me proudly. "Breakfast will be ready, when you come downstairs," she tells me, then walks out the room, closing the door, softly behind her. I enter the bathroom, it is similliar to the tone of the bedroom. I get in the shower and take a good bath, making sure to get rid, of all the yucky blood stains, about my body. I wash my hair, as it is also flity. Finished, and finally feeling clean, I step out of the shower cubicle and dried my hair and skin, with the large white fluffy towel, I found on the rack. I put the dress on, fixing it on my body. My grandmother, was a little leaner than me, as the dress fit my body snugly, highlighting my assets. I stare at my face in the mirror, it's look normal. I pinch my cheek, aww, that hurt. I wave my hand back, and forth in my face, it stays the same, no fading or merging of space, and time in this reality. "I am really here, in this place, at this time" I say out loud, in amazement. I had always felt different, but chalk it down to me, just having white hair and weird colour eyes. Does my mother knows about my powers? Yes, its obvious she does, these people are her parents after all. I hang the towel back on the rack, walked out the bathroom, and leave the bedroom. I am in a short corridor, the cedar wood feels chilly underneath my bare feet. I come to the banister attached to the staircase. I hold onto the wooden railing, and walk slowly down the steps, as my feet still hurt. I pause at the bottom, unsure of which direction to go, when the smell of cooked bacon, playfully guides me, by the nose towards a large white kitchen, with a breakfast nook, set up in one corner. Gerald was already seated at the head of the white oval shape pine table, with an array of food before him. His wife, Angelique was standing at his side, pouring coffee into his cup, by the strong scent of it. They both looked up, as I enter the kitchen. Angelique gesters for me to take a seat, on the left of my grandfather, she sits on his right. A loaded plate, with waffles and bacon, covered with maple surup, is placed infront of me. I mumble a greatful "Thank you," and dig in. I ate the majority of the pancakes, slowing down only to sip, on my freshly made grapefruit juice. As usual she knew what I liked, which wasn't a bad thing, this time. After breakfast, I am led to the dining room, which has more pictures of mom. There was also a few of the three of them together, growing up through, the different stages of her life. I don't know, but it is weird to see your parent, as a baby, then as a toddler, and finally a teenager. Somehow you forget, they had a life before you. Angelique makes us sit on the floor, my back is aganist the couch, this is how she wants us, in a circle, I know that this is important, somehow. "Let us begin," She states, her hair glowing brightly. "Begin what?" I ask feeling anxious "For you to understand, you must first see what will happen, only then, can you can change the outcome," Angelique say cypticaly, staring off into space. She chants some words, glowing blue, the sparkly blue light covers us all, and I can't see them anymore, it's as if I am in a different place. I stand up, and the blue light fades away. I am in a beautiful garden, adorned with large water fountains. I walk around not feeling scare, admiring the many flowers, and neatly landscape lawns. A large man appears, out of no where in front of me. He aproaches me, he is vey tall with blond wavy hair and dark eyes. He has handsome, godlike structure, square jaw, full lips with a little clef in his chin. He walks like a proud animal, deadly but silently. As he nears me, another man looking the same as him, appears to my left, the first man notices him, and roars loudly, shaking the earth. He rushes towards him and a fight breaks out, between them. I feel scared and try to run away, but instead I am thrown, by a strong force onto a large field. I look around me in horror, the ground is soaked with blood and supernatural creatures of all kinds. I see vampires, flying fairies, dwalfs, pixes, large wolves, bears lycans and humans. They kill out each other, ripping heads and limbs apart, from their bodies. I scream in horror, but I am able to run this time, but soon falls to my knees, triping over something. I glance down, and it's the beautiful man from the garden. His eyes are closed, and blood oozes from a deep wound to his chest, I think that he is dead. I feel a sharp pain in my heart, and don't understand why. "Save him," the voice whispers, in my left ear. I quickly turn my head, to my left, but no one is there. I somehow get back, onto my feet unsteadly, and screams when something, grabs me around the waist. I struggle trying to get free, hitting at it, long nails sink into my skin, tearing my skin, making me bleed. I struggle harder, still screaming when, I hear it yells in pain, and releases me. I am freed. I turn around, in time to see, a large black wolflike creature, rips it's heart out, with its long sharp fangs, flinging it on to the ground. This makes my heart stop, and I scream for bloody murder. I am still screaming, as it metamorphosis, right before my eyes, into the same man from the garden, the one that was just, lying dead on the ground. I shut my mouth and swallowing hard. I look towards the ground, he is still there, with the bleeding wound, on his chest. I looked up again, and the same man, he is infront of me now, except he is naked. Are they the same person or brothers? My fried mind, trys to think logically in all this chaos. Before I could even move, I am pulled into his bloody arms, flush aganist his sweaty chest. My mouth opens to scream, but he kisses my lips passionately, forcing me to choke it back down.
