*Alias name Mitch of The Peoples Sword*
I really need to get rid of this damn b***h. She was getting annoying and boring after so long. Though her powers as a Siren were useful to a certain degree and still an exciting rush during s*x, her presence outside the bedroom was just obnoxious.
Constantly telling me she loved me, always asking me if she could help in some way, and the damn look in those ringed eyes of hers. As if I was a f*****g God that came to Earth just for her.
Disgusting.
It had been more fun when she was still fighting me, getting jealous and hostile over the tiniest of things during the start of this ‘relationship’. I was able to break her in back then, using mind games and overwhelming acts of romance that always had her coming back for more. I made her crave me like a drug, even when angry, and plotted a few scenarios where I stepped in to ‘save her’ from other Humans she didn’t know worked for me. The way she had looked at me then, still defiant yet unable to understand why she couldn’t let me go… ugh, what a rush. Breaking in a girl like that, so resistant yet unaware that she was already trapped in my little web of lies and false affection. It was the greatest fun I’d had in a long time.
But now, having her bow to me and my every demand without question… it was stale.
Tedious.
Lifeless.
I so badly wanted to just kill the little b***h, but I still needed her. Not just in my bed, which was still plenty enjoyable since she still flinched and cried when I struck her. It had taken quite a bit of time and many mind games to get her to just sit back and take it. But after I had completely cut her off when she learned of her pregnancy, desperately wanting to repent for letting someone else touch her, I had allowed myself to slowly bring her around to it. Choking her a little harder, digging my nails into her body just a bit more, folding her body into painful positions, and steadily increasing how hard I bit down on her until I finally broke the skin, and she just took it.
I also needed her for the next stage of my plan, though I had hoped to have my hands on Loralyn by now.
Harmony wasn’t even half as powerful as her younger sister, so with Loralyn, I would be able to not only finish my plans successfully, but I would also be able to make anyone and everyone do as I wanted. And the rush I was expecting to feel once I tied that Siren to my bed, being so much stronger than Harmony… the thought alone made me hard and brought a smile to my face.
“Do you want to take a detour?” Harmony asked me, still clinging to my arm as we walked.
I looked down to find her staring at my tented pants, flinching slightly when she grazed her fingers over my bulge with an excited look in her eyes. But deep behind those bright blue and amber eyes of hers, hiding behind that obsessive devotion she had for me, was the tiniest hint of fear. And it was that very fear over the pain she knew I would make her feel that excited me beyond words.
But I had to get things done first, not wanting anything to be out of place for the big finish of my plans.
“After.” I told her, hearing the husky eagerness in my voice as I leaned down to kiss her forehead, hearing her sigh happily. “Let’s get this done first.”
She nodded and soon we found ourselves in a more narrow hallway with fewer lights illuminating the path. A pungent scent of burning flesh, rotting garbage and infected blood filled my nose as we kept going. Harmony moved just a tiny bit closer to me, her own instincts filling her with panic and fear that made me smile some more.
We both stopped in front of the only door at the very end of the hallway, Harmony letting go of my arm and stepping behind me as I fished out a key from my pockets. The door itself was intimidating to many people, with several padlocks keeping it shut and many metal beams making sure that nothing could get out, no matter what. I unlocked and loosened the many chains, moving the door out of the way and taking a second to let my body get used to the feeling of what was inside.
Because in this secret little room that no one dares to go near, shrouded in near complete darkness, were several twisted and starving creatures that even Demons feared.
Harmony had told me about them and how Demons don’t even say their name because it was seen as a bad omen. But I, on the other hand, had seen their great potential and was more than happy to utilize her mediocre talents as a Siren to get the job done. And so far, with her help, I have amassed a total of 12 Flesh-Eaters, or Carnicula as the Demons call them. A full dozen leathery-skinned, red-pupil-having, clawed monsters sat chained and locked behind individual metal cages. Each one fed by the bastards that dared to question me, like that prick that didn’t even listen to ONE, SIMPLE, ORDER.
He lay now, groaning and whimpering in the corner by the door, too weak to even stand as he stared out at the creatures that were drooling with hunger, staring at him.
But he wasn’t why I was here. No, I had more exciting things to do and hurriedly stepped into the room, dragging Harmony in behind me when she hesitated. I had learned that it was an unconscious reaction all Demons had to being in the presence of such creatures. A self-preservation urge that made her resistant to willingly moving a single step closer to the monsters she helped me create.
“There they are.” I said, stopping in front of a Demon man and woman that were both chained at the ankle to the wall.
He was bloody and wheezing pretty badly as he moved, his girlfriend shaking violently behind him. I just smiled as I looked at them, more than ready to watch another exciting show before I satisfied my growing urges. I turned to Harmony who glared at the girl silently, hating that I was near a woman regardless of the fact that she was crying and very clearly scared to death.
“Go on.” I told her, wrapping an arm around her waist and pulling her close to me, watching the murderous jealousy vanish, replaced by the same adoring smile she always showed me. “Make her do it.”
Harmony paused, turning back to the woman who flinched when their eyes locked. I could see that she didn’t like the idea of keeping the woman and sacrificing the man. But she shook it off just as quickly, opening her mouth to begin singing.
Still smiling, I watched as the woman, now stiff under the hypnosis of a Siren’s song, started to twitch and jerk randomly, fighting its influence on her. But the wordless tune that came out of Harmony, dropping and rising in a steady rhythm, was stronger than her will to fight it. Soon enough, the demon woman turned to her boyfriend, tears spilling from her glazed eyes before she started lashing out at him. Her Shifter claws extended and her teeth sharpened as she attacked the unsuspecting man who couldn’t escape her. Blood sprayed everywhere as she bit and tore into him, finally stopping his feeble fighting limbs. Then, as she opened him up more and more, I saw it.
The woman's ringed eyes, the eyes that identified every Demon still freely walking around OUR home, were now swirling with black.
It was the first sign that a Demon was now becoming a true monster, just like the others that were now screaming and thrashing in their cages, desperate for the taste of the Demon that lay dead at the hands of his lover. The swimming blackness that nearly took over all of the white in her eyes looked like liquid smoke that moved along with her eyes. And once Harmony saw that inky blackness enter the woman's eyes, she stopped singing, gasping and stumbling after using so much of her weak power to make the woman do what she did.
“Good job.” I told her, turning away from the woman who was now whimpering, crying and muttering to herself. “Let’s head back.” She smiled weakly at me, exciting me even more. “I’ll take good care of you.”
Harmony giggled as the Shifter woman screamed and growled, her sadness fueling the other Flesh-Eaters that kept her trapped at the far end of the room. I knew that she’d be too afraid to move from her spot or even try to free herself from the chain. Her natural instinct to avoid any nearness to those caged was too strong to ignore, especially when they were all reaching out between the bars, desperate to grab her.
Still, I enjoyed the fear, sadness and pain that rang out as she asked us why we were doing this, reaching the door and closing it behind me. Though, not before I smiled darkly at the man that had not listened to me and allowed the two tools I needed to escape under his watch. I was more than ready to do as I pleased with the eager yet still frightened Siren once again clinging to my arm.
