Jace's POV:
I marched back to my home office to go through the rest of the project I had in helping the low-class families in some community and poor villages. As I had many businesses running under the Augustus Corporation.
However, my mind kept hovering around the fact that Clara isn't the woman with me.
This feeling deep within my heart cannot be ignored.
First, the way Clara has acted on our wedding day baffled me. Instead of looking elated that she was getting married to me, she appeared tense, like she was forced to marry me.
On our bachelor's eve, I got a phone call from Roy that information reaching him was that Clara had traveled out of the country.
I was stunned and tried calling her number, but it was already too late as she had switched it off.
