CELINE'S POV:
"Reach for my mouth. You should give me a kiss, too. Wait, let me show you." Jace took the meat pie snack that I brought for him and held it to his lip. Holding it close to his mouth, he cut off a piece of meat pie with his teeth and mouth-fed me.
"What are you doing?" I wanted to get away from him, but he caught me by the arm. "There is love in sharing. Aren't you my wife? So why are you shying away? That's how you should feed me." Jace gestured for me to take a bite before I kiss-fed him.
"Fine." I did as he told me, steeling my heart to not fall for him, as I had two more pieces of snacks to share with him.
I picked up the snacks and ate one as I fed him, too. Just then, a knock on my office door startled me, and I looked over at the door and saw Ava.
