AI Takeover??

24 hours later, Grey was lying on a makeshift hospital bed and hooked to a bag of water webbing down a pipe plugged into his arm. Mark was standing in the observation room separated from Grey by a thick one way glass taking data and comparing them prudently while Jenny was standing beside him looking stone as usual but tapping her heels on the tile continuously. Mark was been disturbed by the taps but he knew better than to provoke her.

Patt shows up at the other end of the passage leading to the observation room with two Coffee Cups in his hands approached the door and steps into the room and says "Here you are Jen, I have been looking for you". Jenny shrugs and said "cup of coffee for me?".

Patt nods and handed a cup to her. She took it without even glancing at patt's face. Mark speaks up "Is the other cup for me?" Patt faces the one way glass and takes a sip without answering.

Mark shurgs " I guess not". Patt observed the display panels and asked " is there anything new?". Jenny takes a gulp of coffee and said "We were just waiting for you"

Mark nods and adjusted his lab coat. "Patt, We got a big problem" Patt frowns, while Mark continues "I found a large deposit of nanobot particles in Grey's system. Patt frowns got deeper and asked "Nanobot particles ?".

Mark nods and continued "Yes, remember 2 years ago we commissioned a nanobot power source and started using a nano bot powered generator power supply" he paused and continued "I found out that grey was

the one who drained our power supply and caused a black out yesterday". Patt held his chin with his hands and asked "Humans can store nanobots particles?" Mark shrugs and answers "Not technically, but thinking about it with the support of an AI is quite possible. The AI has stored a portion of itself in Grey's neuro core and from analysis Grey's Cortex could not contain the entire AI module so it devoured our power reserve and used the nanobots to store itself in energy information form. Patt looked directly into Grey's eyes "A1 module 00 is currently in Control of Grey?".

Jenny shrugs "That's our assumption, but there is hardly any abnormal activities in his brain except if the AI has learned to camouflage it's activities inside Grey's brain waves". Mark added "And that is bad. if the AI 00 is Sentient and can think and perform actions then dangerous part is that it wasn't given any base directive or objective. It's just a blank AI forming it's own Concept of good and bad.

Patt turns to Jenny "Is there a way we can Install directives on it?"

Jenny replies without answering "We are not sure the AI took over grey yet,Grey neuro core helped it evolve so it Should consider the neuro core it's source and protect it". She sips her coffee and said "Objectives should have been installed when the AI was still a module , it's impossible now because we ain't even sure where the AI really is located in his body. And we are dealing with three entities. One is a Strange neuro cortex that successfully evolves an AI module, two, is a Biologically evolved AI without objectives and the last is nanobot particles which are able to hold extremely huge amount of energy and can repair and reproduce them selfs".

Mark adds "What if we are only worried for nothing . If the AI needs directive it's only source of information is Grey's brain?"

Patt unfolds his hands and dips them in his trousers pockets "That is worse, Grey was a orphan found at the orphanage door when he was 6 years old, he grew to become a quiet young adult who keeps to himself while at the age of 19 years old, he joined the military, he has gone on three trips to Afghanistan, two trips to Iraq, one to Africa. He always Volunteers whenever a mission was issued. He was in the Marines for 13 years without vacation. Joined the UN Peace Corps for 2 years and has left Service since 2 years ago. He has No Crimes, No health issues except for 6 months PTSD after he left Service.

He's area of Special speciality is both close range and long range Combat. He uses a Sniper, assault rifle, two pistols, two knifes. He is said to have a Special love for Machine guns, especially the Shredder Series.

He has no relationships and considered a very good Soldier.

He received a honor badge, Purple Hearts, another medal for Courage and bravery.

Jenny turns to Patt "Did you study the guy's entire biography?" Patt shrugs without answering. Mark interrupts "Does that mean the AI has information about this guy and his skills at its disposal?". The three saw movements from Grey and head for his room while Patt called security.

Grey wakes up, he could feel his brain is heavier than usual, he wasn't feeling so good even the body feels lighter.

he ripped all the tubes Connected to him off and approached the door but he was only half way across the room when the door flung open and a few dozen guards came in armed with batons and had a hand gun that wasn't drawn yet but he knew the drill, since they have permission to carry it here means the fact that they were allowed to use it.

Although he was a skilled marine, he wasn't about to charge to his death. Each of these guards was ex mercs, former marines , special ops or rangers. Grey stood still and placed his hands on his head indicating his surrender. Patt, Jenny and Mark entered the room once Grey was back on his bed and handcuffed to the bed. Patt studied Grey without saying a word while Grey was feeling a lot better than when he woke up.

Grey ask Mark who was checking his vitals "what happened, why am I been treated like this?".

Patt came forward and asked "How do you feel Grey or AI Module 00?" Grey looked confused. Mark on the other hand tried to inject Grey with sedatives but the needle won't penetrate Grey's skin no matter what. He Called Jenny and Patt's attention to the Situation. Patt was stunned for a while then ordered "didn't he have a hole in his before?". Mark replied "It's already healed".

Jenny looked surprised but never took her eyes off grey "fast regeneration? Grey carefully looked at the injection vial in Mark's hands and asked "What is that?" Mark opened his mouth to explain but Patt said "pour it in his mouth then okay"

The few security guards in the room rushed forward and tightly secured grey locking him in a place.Patt moved to mark took the syringe apart and removed the vial of liquid while approaching Grey he said "open wide this would be over in a minute"

At that point there was a slight hum in Grey's head then a robotic voice spoke "threat detected, taking evasive action". Grey's body went limp for a split second then suddenly became energetic. He easily freed himself from the guards and knocked them out then broke the hand cuffs in a snap. "Evasion action successfully completed"

Patt was stunned on the spot and couldn't react fast enough

While grey was already standing right in front of him. **Grey used to be just slightly taller than him but now Grey was a head taller, Probably the effect of the AI:** thought patt. Grey although shocked by all that is happening, still wants to get out of the situation first before think about anything else. He threw Patt across the room like a rag doll, "he felt too light" grey said to himself as he heads for the door but before he could reach the door. Security guards came rushing in aiming their guns at him.** I would be devastated if they decide to fire at once** grey thought silently in his head. But at that point a low hum sounds in his head and his body too

The robotic voice sound in his head "Multiple hostiles detected, Engaging defensive processes. Values determined. Note that this first time unleashing nano armour will be uncomfortable". Grey now trusts the robotic voice 100% after the demonstration earlier so he braced up.

but what came was intense pain all his pores were forcefully opened and he felt like all his pores were been removed and replaced and dark red substances crawling out all over his body and within few seconds he was fully covered in a tight-fitted dark red armour suit. .

The guards were shocked but some of the guards opened fire at Grey and all bullets got bounced off. Grey was astonished but he knew that he had to get out of here immediately. The robotic voice came at this point "Armour integrity at 99% and dropping" Grey Spoke out cautiously " can you get me out of here? "Yes, as long as you grant me temporary controls of the amour". Grey didn't hesitate at all "Granted" "Switching to flight armour and activating jet boots." His armour lights up with another layer of armour then his boot lights up and a set of holes opened up and flames shot out. The suit lifted up and flew making a hole in the roof and disappeared into the sky.
