{Sophia’s POV}
I needed some time before I could get washed off after that invasion of privacy. I closed my bathroom door and locked it. My whole body shaking, I looked down at my thigh, the ugly scar that was dug into my skin. I sighed, and pulled myself up, stepping into the shower. I washed off, and dried my hair. I pulled it up into a bun like usual, but then decided to take it down and put it in a high pony tail. It laid curly down to my butt, even in the high pony.
I walked out of my bathroom and made my way to my closet. I opened it up and pulled out the black dress that Cassie had gotten me. It was skin tight, hugging all of my curves in all the right places. It went down to my mid thigh, and had a slit up one side. I grabbed a pair of my black stockings, pulling them on, then my black combat boots. I tossed my leather jacket onto the bed and went back to the bathroom. I put on some makeup, doing a beautiful Smokey eye, and deep red lips. I walked over, tossing on my leather jacket and walked back into my living room.
I looked at the clock and realized it was only 6:00pm. Nothing would be open yet, not for a few more hours at least. Most of the clubs around here didn’t open until late though. I pulled out my phone and called Cassie. “Hey, you wanna go to the mall, and maybe go hang out at a club tonight? I’m feeling a party vibe?” I asked.
“Duh!” She shrieked. “I’m so excited, you never wanna go out clubbing! We’re going to have so much fun!”
“I’ll meet you at the mall, we’ll grab something to eat in the food court and go shopping while we wait!” I said excitedly.
“Awesome! I’m already ready for the mall, I’ll just pack an extra outfit for the club!” She said. “I’ll see you in a bit!”
“Meet me by the fountain right inside!” I said, hanging up, getting my purse, and grabbing my keys for my motorcycle. I locked my front door behind me, and made my way down to my bike. I pulled on my helmet and backed out of my parking spot. I pulled out, taking off pretty fast and heading towards the mall. I made it there pretty quickly, and made my way inside and towards the fountain.
As I walked up I saw Cassie sitting there, her usual business woman look. She had on a button up white shirt, with a short, tight black skirt. She was wearing black stockings and strapped high heels. She waved as I walked up. Her long red hair, bouncing in it’s beautiful natural curls. Her green eyes popped against her pale skin, she looked stunning. She was 5’10, one of my taller female friends. She stood up making her way over to where I was. “Your hair! It’s not in a bun, and it’s so long! OMG! You look amazing in that dress! I knew you would! It fits you perfectly, like it was made for you!” She said excitedly looking me over.
“Thank you! You look amazing as always! I don’t know how you do it!” I complimented back.
“Team of stylists!” She giggled. “I just came from shooting a commercial. I told them extra glam today, so I could look good tonight!” She said smiling. “I didn’t know who I was going out with, just that I definitely felt a party vibe tonight!” She giggled.
I smiled as she linked her arm with mine. “So, where should we go first? Food, ice cream, or shopping?” I asked, already knowing what her answer would be.
“Shopping, duh! I’ve been waiting to shop for two days! It’s been so long since I’ve been able to go out!” She frowned. “These back to back jobs are killing me!”
“Tell me about it, and if the jobs aren’t stressful enough, I have Soren’s awkward mood swings!” I said dramatically.
“I know what you mean! Now he’s with Britannia! Ugh!” She rolled her eyes. “That girl is just after his money, she knows he’s loaded and wants to get everything she can out of him!” She sneered.
“With his attitude, maybe they’re perfect for each other!” I chuckled as we made our way into our first store.
We shopped around for hours, I got a few new outfits, and shoes, while I’m pretty sure Cassie bought out a whole section of the mall. We ate some Mexican food and made out way outside. “Can I leave these bags in your car? I brought my bike..” I asked, looking over to my motorcycle.
“Yeah sure, just put them in here! Now, I’ve already picked out the perfect club, and lucky for us they open in 10 minutes. So just follow my driver here and I’ll see you when we get there!” She said, closing the door.
I walked over and hopped on my bike, pulling my helmet on, and starting it up. I drove out behind her, and followed her car. On the way there my phone began to blow up with calls from Soren. I hung up at least six times, before finally answering. “What is it Soren?” I asked.
“Where are you?” He asked, his voice still sounding irritated.
“I’m on my way to the club, why?” I spoke loudly as I was on my bike and could barely hear him.
“I thought you were joking about that, come home, I want to talk to you..” he said softly, but still with anger behind his words.
“You know what Soren, I’m about sick and tired..” but I was cut off as the sound of screeching breaks, and a car horn overtook my senses. A car ran the red light, crashing into the side of me. I could hear the sounds of metal crashing together. Then I went flying off my bike. I rolled across the ground, until I finally came to a stop. I couldn’t move, my body felt heavy, and my head felt weird. I looked over and could see that my helmet came off and was lying next to me. Blood was beginning to pool around my head, and I could hear Soren yelling through my phone.
I saw Cassie running towards me, and her screaming for someone to call an ambulance. I was so tired, I just needed to rest. I closed my eyes, and dozed off, allowing sleep to take over.
