I burst in her room. Renata looks up at me from her bed. I was terrified. She stood up from the bed and walked up to me.
"What's wrong? You're trembling."
"It's Black Mask. He came to ask of Irene." I said with my shaky voice.
"Okay, okay calm down. And what did you tell him?"
"I said, I said....gosh why am I so nervous?! I said she's not in my room and - and I think maybe...maybe..."
Renata gestures her hand. "Mm, mm, go on."
"Maybe library, then he left but I hope he didn't notice, notice anything strange." Renata rubs my back.
"I'm sure he didn't. I think you did well."
"So how long are we suppose to keep this lie?" I asked.
"As long as we can. Hopefully seven days." I nodded. I should try for Irene. "He'll probably kill us if he founds out, wouldn't he?"
